教师用同样的方法呈现snow的图片。

教学单词snowy。
以同样的方式学习cloudy,rainy,windy,cool。
设计意图:通过与学生讨论天气,自然导出新课,帮助学生在真实的情境中理解新句型。同时在活动中将句型和单词的学习相结合,培养了学生的语言表达能力,激发了学生用英语交流的兴趣,锻炼了学生瞬间记忆的能力。

(1)Listen and try to understand.

设计意图:观看视频,通过自听、带着问题听,培养学生的听力和捕捉信息的能力。跟读、让学生模仿地道的语音语调,增加读的感悟。自读、小组合作朗读以增进学生对对话内容的理解。造句练习锻炼学生写的能力。

设计意图:再读对话,组内合作表演对话,强化了对所学内容的理解,增加了输入性活动和整体性操练。采取竞赛的形式,不仅培养了学生合作能力,更激发了学生学习英语的欲望。这几个教学环节体现了对话教学的语篇意识,有助于学生认知能力的发展和提升。
3.Play CAI—Five pictures.

各小组进行问答练习,然后全班组间相互问答。

设计意图:通过教师展示的中国地图课件,谈论天气以及出行必带的物品,激活学生的创新思维,鼓励学生发挥想象力、创造力,通过自己创编的天气预报,充分展示语言的输出功能,发挥语言的实用性和灵活性,形成一定的学习策略。
2.PlayCAI“AnEnglish woman reports the world weather.”.
(1)Listen to the world weather report.
(2)T shows a map of world on the blackboard.Make the Ss know the cities’geographical position.
(3)Let theSs stick the cities cards on the map.
(4)Listen again,and let the Ss stick the weather signs on the blackboard.
(5)Listen again,and check the answer.
设计意图:视频播放英语世界天气预报,引导学生找出地理位置,把英语知识和地理知识融合在一起。学生试着去听,在地图上找出并贴出这些城市的位置,再听一遍,贴出这些城市的天气情况,这样既拓展了学生知识面,又有利于训练学生的听力。

设计意图:渗透情感教育,培养学生要有查看天气预报的好习惯。

设计意图:生生、师生互评,让学生体验成功的乐趣,同时还能知道自己的不足。
