一、导入
在大屏幕上投放春暖花开,绿色盎然,生机勃勃的美丽春色,加之优美的钢琴曲,让学生感受春天的美好。老师开始导入:Now it’s spring, yes? Do you like spring? Why? 帮助同学们回答:It’s warm in spring.The trees are green. And the flowers are beautiful.在导入中复习形容词warm, green, beautiful.
二、过渡
Spring is so beautiful. Why don’t we go out for a trip? 生答:OK!
Let’s go to London, OK?
三、复习
1.投放伦敦地形图
Do you know London? 生答:Yes. It’s a big city.
Can you say out a big city in China?生答:Yes.Beijing is a big city in China.

2.What’s this? 生答:Buckingham Palace
Can you talk about it?生答:It’s big and beautiful. It’s the queen’s House. 师补充:London is the capital of England. It’s also very Famous.引出单词famous。让学生认读练习后,用famous 造句达到运用的目的。
四、新授过渡
Now look at the two pictures and tell me what we learn in Module 2?
生答:描述一座城市或者一处景物

教师领读单元题目it’s very old. 并学习单词old,讲解三种意思并举例说明。

First let’s see the sights of London. 学生听着优美的轻音乐,欣赏三处名胜的图片,让学生初步认识。
九、学习三处名胜的名称
1.Now let me tell you what they are.老师边教边板书:This is Big Ben/Hyde Park/Tower Bridge.并讲解专有名词的第一个字母要大写。然后以全班齐读,分大组读,小组读,个别读的不同方式练习熟读。
2.玩游戏What’s missing?学生快速说出少了哪处景物。
十、在导游的带领解说下参观三处景物
First let’s visit Big Ben.
1.First let’s listen to the guide.
2.Can you talk about it in English? 引出并练习This is... It’s ...
