I.Teaching Contents

Unit 2：Healthy eating.

Reading：Come and eat here（1） Period1（NSEFC Book 3）

（高一英语必修3第二单元《健康饮食》，阅读《到这儿来用餐吧》，第一课时。）

II. Teaching Objectives

1. Knowledge objectives

Make the students master the important words， phrases and sentence patterns.

2. Ability objectives

Improve the students reading and speaking ability through various tasks.

3. Affective objectives

（1） To get the Ss to acquire a good knowledge of the healthy eating and learn to form the good habit of the healthy diet.

（2） To enable Ss to realize the importance of the balanced diet and to keep fit.

III. Teaching Important Points

1. Learn the words and phrases .

2. Enable the students to improve their reading and speaking skills.

IV. Teaching Difficult Points

1. Lead the Ss to discover the structure of difficult sentences.

2. How to help the Ss understand the passage better.

Step I Lead in and warming up（5′）

教师活动： Showing pictures and asking questions.

学生活动：Discuss and describe what you see in the picture.

设计目的：通过设问，激发学生兴趣及参与性；通过图片，让学生学习相关单词，了解各类食物对人体的功能。

Step II Pre-reading （3′）

Today we are going to read the story about Wang Pings and Yong Huis running restaurant. Now look at the title and the pictures and guess what it will be about.

教师活动：Asking the related questions.

学生活动： 根据标题、图片及问题，猜测故事大意及写作意图。

设计意图：激活学生思维，提升学生猜测能力，明确写作目的，懂得健康饮食的重要性。

Step III While-reading-comprehending（20′）

1.Skimming （4′）

Skimming and summarizing ：exercise 4 on page11.

教師活动：教师用投影仪展示出文章框架。

Part 1 Wang Peng is worried because his restaurant is not as full as it usually is.

Part 2 He follows his friend to a newly opened restaurant which is very popular.

Part 3 Worried， he does some research to win his customers back.

学生活动：快速浏览课文，找寻主题句，概括大意。

设计意图：训练学生快速阅读及段意概括的能力。

2.Careful reading （16′）

教师活动：多媒体展示原题，要求学生认真阅读课文，寻找相关信息， 完成任务。

学生活动：认真阅读课文完成任务，然后向全班汇报。

（2）课文细节及长难句释意题.Page11 Exercise2.（5′）

教师活动：多媒体展示长难句.

（3）两人餐馆优缺点分析对照题。Page11 Exercise3（4′）

教师活动：多媒体展示对照表格。

学生活动：认真阅读课文完成任务，然后向全班汇报。

设计意图：（1）训练学生快速查读细节、捕捉信息的能力。

（2）训练学生驾驭长难句的能力。

Step IV Tape playing（4′）

教师活动：Playing.

学生活动：Listening and following， paying attention to the pronuncia-tion、tune、intonation and stress.

设计意图：训练学生的整体阅读理解能力、听力、语音、语调及跟读能力及对文章关键细节的推断能力。

Step V Extended discussion（延伸讨论，5′）

教师活动：1. 结合课文理解，用多媒体展示练习5，引发学生深层思考。

学生活动：分组讨论，收集信息，小组发言，选代表汇报。

设计意图：（1）培养学生团队合作精神。

（2）训练学生英语表达能力。

（3）使整堂课上升到情感高度，让学生获得知识与心灵的双重收获。

Step VI Consolidation and summary（小结巩固，2′）

教师活动：参照板书设计，小结巩固文章大意及重点单词、短语和句型。

学生活动：理解识记，巩固消化。

设计意图：提升课堂教学效果，深化主題。

Ending（结束语）

Step VII Homework（作业布置，1′）

1. Read the text aloud.

2. Write out a passage on any of the topics.

（1） What do you think Wang Peng will provide to win his customers

back？Why？

（2） How do you think the story will end？

（3） Write out the general idea of the text in your own words.
