【摘 要】本文以一节中学生阅读课的教学设计为切入点做了点滴展示 ,供广大英语教师参考,希望起到抛砖引玉的作用。

一、教学目标

(1)Key vocabulary: result, percent, online, television, although, through, mind,body, such (as), together, die, writer.

(2)培养学生的阅读、分析文本的能力,学会用百分数叙述调查结果。(3)通过阅读文本,让学生得知“锻炼是健康的根本”,从而学会养成良好的生活习惯。

二、教学重难点

(一)教学重点

(1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。 (2) 正确的理解、分析文本,学会制作饼图并用其叙述调查结果。

(二)教学难点

通过本节读写课,能让学生纠正不良业余活动习惯,培养良好兴趣。

三、教学过程

Step1 Warming up.

Have a free talk and watch Happy Camp about TF boys.

设计思路:课前通过观看学生喜欢的青春偶像“TF boys”在“快乐大本营”节目中锻炼身体的片段,既活跃课堂气氛,又激发学生的学习兴趣,更为下面学习新知识做铺垫,也直接切入提倡“Eхercise”主题。

Step2 Brainstorm

T: What do you usually do in your free time?

Ss: Watch TV/ play computer games/ play basketball/ read books…

T: How often do you do that? Ss: ……

(Show some pictures to the students, and learn the new words: online, television, such as…)

设计思路:通过师生交流,在复习旧知识的基础上,呈现部分新单词,让学生在轻松愉悦的气氛中温故而知新。同时也是灵活处理2a部分。

Step3 Fast reading

lead-in

(Show a picture of No. 5 High School students.)

T: Do you want to know their free time activities?

2. Read and answer

(1) What activities were in the passage?

(2) The main idea is _____(选择题)

(Reading strategies: The key words can help you.The main idea is usually at the beginning.)

Then retell according to the questions above.

设计思路:培养学生快速阅读,把握文本主旨的能力。

Step4 Careful reading

1.Paragraph 2

(1)Read and complete the first pie chart on page 14.

(Reading strategy: Look for the key words.)

(2)Read and retell.

(3)A tip: Eхercise makes you happy, healthy and wealthy.(锻炼使人快乐,健康,富有)

2.Paragraph 3

(1)Read and complete the second pie chart on page 14.

(2)Read and try to retell.

(Reading strategy: Get the main information by reading fast.)

(3)A tip: Computer is a tool, not a toy. (电脑是工具非玩具。)

Step5 After reading.(Group work)

T: Do you think the students at No.5 are healthy? Why (not)?

Let’s propose.(发出倡议)

Eg. Start eхercising before it’s too late./ Go out to eхercise twice a week.

Join team activities./ ……

( Students may discuss it and then sum up what they have learnt this class).

Make a survey and then make a pie chart.

How often do you … Numbers of classmates (总10) 1-3 times a week 4-6 times a week every day

设计思路:通过调查,发表自己对业余活动的见解和建议,为写作做铺垫。

Step6 Writing.

Write a short passage according to your pie chart above. Read more, eхercise more, life is beautiful.(多读书,多锻炼,美好的生活在前面。)

Listen to Eхercise song to relaх.

设计思路:这是由阅读升华到书写的环节,不仅提高了学生的运用语言表达自己观点的能力,同时又对学生进行了情感教育和蕴藏着老师对学生的寄语。

Step7 Homework.

1.Improve the passage.

2.Read 2b after the tape.

设计思路:该作业的设计既对本课重点句型进行巩固训练,也提高和改善自身不良生活习惯,培养健康的生活方式。
