一、教材分析
本模块的主题是 “Animal facts”。它是以学生喜欢的话题“动物习性”为主要教学内容。 Unit 1中出现的重点句型有:Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They love bamboo. Do snakes like music? 相关的词汇有:believe, together, lucky, bamboo, DVD, snake, its, body, get, frightened等。我將本单元内容设计为本模块的第一课时。本课时为新知识的呈现。
二、教学重点和难点
重点:
1.掌握以下四会词:lucky, DVD, snake, bamboo…
2.掌握四会句:Do… like…
难点:通过本模块的学习,学生能用英语向他人描述某些动物的生活习性,以及能向他人询问动物的生活习性。
三、教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)能听说认读以下四会词:lucky, DVD, snake, bamboo…
(2)能听懂、能实际运用句型Do you like…? Yes, I do / No, I dont.
2.能力目标:
通过本模块的学习,学生能用英语向他人描述某些动物的生活习性,以及能向他人询问动物的生活习性。能将语言内容转化为实际交际。
3.情感目标:
通过动物单词、句型的学习以及情景教学,激发学生爱护动物,热爱大自然,热爱生活的美好情感。
四、教法和学法
在教学中,我采用“真实运用任务教学法”、“活动性教学法”和“创设情景教学法”来完成教学任务。借助实物情景,进行小组对话,全班问答。借助动作、手势加以解释,帮助学生对句子意思有更形象的理解。为充分激发学生的学习兴趣,我为本单元设计的任务是:描述你最喜欢的动物。
五、教学步骤
Step 1 让学生看动画片并唱英文歌曲: Old Macdonald had a farm.欣赏完歌后,老师提问:What animals can you see on the farm?由此引出本课关于动物的话题。(设计意图:营造活跃轻松的课前气氛,培养他们对英语的兴趣,使学生带着积极和活跃的心态投入课堂中)过渡句:Do you like animals?
Step 2.Warming up
1.大屏幕显示谜面让学生猜动物。
They have got long tails. They climb trees very fast. They like bananas. What are they? (monkeys)
They are long. They have got small heads. They have got no legs. What are they? (snakes)
They have got no legs. They live in water. What are they? (fish)
They are strong and big. They sleep in winter. What are they? (bears)
They are fat. They are black and white. They live in China. What are they? (pandas)
(设计意图:复习旧知识的同时也为学习新知识做好了铺垫,同时也锻炼了学生的听力)
2.Lead in the new lesson. Do you like animals? Today we are going to know more about animal facts. Id like each group make a riddle about animals and the other groups guess what are they? 请每个小组都来编写动物谜语,请其他组来猜猜它们描述的是什么动物。So you should learn how to talk about animal facts, then you can do it well, OK?
(设计意图:提出任务,为本课教学内容创设环境。让学生更有针对性和目的性的学习。)
Step 3. Presentation
1.Listen to the tape carefully,then tell me how many animals can you hear?What are they?
(设计意图:课文整体呈现,为学生提供使用语言的环境。)
2.Listen to the tape again,underline the new words and discuss them in groups, try to understand its meaning.
(设计意图:给学生提出要求,他们会有目的的去听,去听他们不认识的单词的发音,然后小组合作,解决问题,会培养学生的自主学习能力和团结协作能力)
3.Check and teach the new words
4.Listen to the tape, pause it for the children to follow it.
(设计意图:正音和及时巩固。)
5.The children read the text by themselves, then try to answer the following questions in groups.
1.Who gives Daming the presenrt?
2.What is the present?
3.How many hours do pandas eat a day?
4.What do pandas like to eat?
5.Do snakes like music?Why?
6.Does Daming like the present?
(设计意图:让学生带着问题去读课文,在培养他们阅读能力的同时,也培养了他们的思维能力和理解能力,然后以小组合作的方式来讨论问题,解决问题,体现学生间的互助合作,同时也是对她们自主学习能力的培养。)

教學反思:这节课我根据教学内容和学生的年龄特点设计了一系列的教学活动,精心设计了形式多样的、生动活泼的、学生乐于接受的趣味性活动,多方位调动学生的多种感官积极参与课堂教学。尤其在猜一猜的活动,同学们更是异常踊跃。借助视觉、听觉等器官刺激,使学生多种感官参与课堂教学,使学生更加主动的学习,使学习效果更加好。
另外,创编chant活动可以培养学生的创造力和分析、归纳、总结的能力,让学生感到好奇、新鲜、有趣,这样学生能够愿意去学进而能够主动去学,知识才能够被接受,这样学生的能力才能够得到提高。
