一、教学目标.

1. 语言知识目标:

(1)能掌握以下单词:grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist.

能掌握以下句型:

① ─What do you want to be when you grow up?

─I want to be a basketball player.

② ─How are you going to do that?

─Im going to practice basketball every day.

(2) 能了解以下语法:

掌握一般将来时态的构成形式。

(3) 用一般将来时态表达将要做的事情。

2. 能力目标:

(1)培养学生准确运用be going to表达将要做的事情的能力。

(2)通过听力,对话以及小组活动提高学生的听说能力。

3. 情感态度价值观目标:

每个人都有自己的梦想和对未来的打算,对于将来想要从事的职业也充满了憧憬。 人们经常谈论他们的设想,因此,可以通过学习本课的内容来激发学生们的学习主动性和学习兴趣,使他们更加有理想,并为实现自己的理想而不断努力。同时通过课堂活动培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,善于合作,培养学生团结协作精神。

二、教学重难点.

1. 教学重点:

(1) 学习一般将来时态的构成方式 。

(2) 学习本课时出现的重点句型,通过在不同 情景下学生模拟对话练习来熟练运用一般将来时态。

2. 教学难点:

用一般将来时态表达自己未来的打算。

三、教学方法.

1.“Teach English in English”。

2.突出重点,突破难点。

3.任务型教学法。

4. 游戏教学法。

5.竞赛教学法。

四、教学理念.

1.自主、探究、合作的知识建构观。

2.从学生生活出发,教学活动回归学生生活中的常见的职业。

3.学生通过情境问题、课程资源进行多角度、多样式互动的多元互动教学观。

五、教学过程.

1. Lead-in

教师播放小短文Im a policeman. Im a policeman dressed in blue, here are some things I like to do. Direct the traffic in your town , help to keep you safe and sound. Its my job and I like it fine. No one has a better job than mine .Im a policeman dressed in blue ,I want to be your friend to you .You can see me every day, I will wave my hand and say:…。调动起学生的学习热情,然后教师通过播放ppt里的小动漫展示Marry等四人想从事的职业。让学生来猜,以此来活跃课堂气氛,也培养学生的学习能力和观察能力。

2. Presentation

Part One: learn new words

(1). 让学生用英语介绍自己小时候想要从事的职业,由此归纳出以前所学过的一些职业的英语表达方式: teacher, nurse, doctor, basketball player, runner, actor, actress …

(2). Riddles让学生通过猜谜语的趣味小活动学习新单词。

What do they do?

①People come to see me when they are sick. I can help to make them feel better.

②I like singing and playing the guitar. I act in different movies.

③I work in hotels, I can cook delicious food for people.

④I am good at designing. I can build high buildings and long bridges.

⑤I am good at computers science. And I can design many new programs.

⑥I enjoy taking a plane and travel all over the world. I must keep a good eyesight and take flying lessons.

(3).猜完謎语后,让学生找课本上我们还没有涉及的单词,意在培养学生的动手能力和观察能力,同时也让学生完成课本上的单词记忆工作。

(4). Do you think these jobs are interesting? Rank them [1-12](1 is most interesting, 12 is least interesting.

此处设计意图:培养学生的职业兴趣和发现自己的职业理想,同时也落实本课情感态度价值观目标。

Part Two: practice listening

Listen and fill in the blanks. Then match the items.

(1). T: Tell Ss to read the words of jobs in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the words and sentences.

(2). Play the recording for the Ss to listen and fill in the blanks.

(3).Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss.

(4). Play the recording again. Ss listen and match the jobs with activities.

(5). Show the answers on the big screen.

Part Three: pairwork

(1). Let Ss read the model with a partner.

(2). Use the information in the chart of 1b. Ask and answer with a partner.

(3). Let some pairs ask and answer about the chart.

Part Four : grammar , Words and expressions

1. be going to + v. 表示即将发生的事或最近打算进行的动作。表示说话者的意图、推测和打算。

(1). 我打算下个月去北京参观。 Im going to visit Beijing next year.

(2). 她打算将来搬到上海。 Shes going to move to Shanghai.

(3). 玛丽要卖她的汽车。 Mary is going to sell her car.

(4). 今天早上我不吃早餐。Im not going to have breakfast this morning.

(5). 你打算邀請约翰参加你的聚会吗? Are you going to invite John to your party?

(6). 你打算买什么? What are you going to buy?

2. want to be+职业 表示“想成为一名……”

e.g.我长大了要当名医生。

I want to be a doctor when I grow up.

3.when做连词时,如果主句的谓语动词是一般将来时,从句要用一般现在时。

Ill visit you when I come back.

4. grow up 长大;成熟;成长

e.g.当她长大后,她想当一名老师。

She wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

5. violinist n. 小提琴手

violin (小提琴) + ist (职业) →violinist

e.g.她的梦想是当一名小提琴家。

Her dream is to be a violinist.

6. driver n. 司机;驾驶员

drive (驾驶) + (e)r →driver 驾驶员

e.g. 我叔叔是北京的一名公交车司机。

My uncle works as a bus driver in Beijing.

7 .cook n. 厨师; v. 烹饪;煮

e.g. 我经常帮妈妈做晚饭。

I often help my mom cook dinner.

Part Five:exercise

课堂小练用所给单词的适当形式填空。

1. The boys __________ (go) play soccer this afternoon.

2. _____ you ____________(play) basketball with me next week?

3. The actor ___ going to ________(move) to New York.

4. He loves actors very much. Hes going to take

_____ (act) lessons every day.
