一、教材分析

《牛津小学英语》6 B Unit 5《The seasons》A部分,此部分通过对话模式的短文探讨纽约的四季和气候,内容编写科学、合理并以情境交流为主线,巧妙地创设“苏阳的爸爸将去纽约”这一情境,与现实生活紧密相连,激发了学生的学习兴趣。在教学设计时我紧紧把握A板块语篇整体教学的理念,从对话内容入手,先整体呈现学习语篇,并逐步分层引导学生学习课文中的语言知识,最后整体感知并拓展知识点。

二、教学过程

(1)Step1.Warming up.

①Free talk.

②Sing a song《Whats the weather like?》

(通过亲切的问候,听一听,唱一唱,拉近了师生间的距离,创设了良好的英语学习氛围,使学生尽快进入了学习的状态)

(2)Step2.Presentation.巧设情境,引入新知。

①通过歌曲的歌词过渡到Whats the weather like?这个重点句型的讲解,并通过看、听等多种形式呈现表示天气的形容词。

T:Its summer now.拓展Whats the weather like in summer?

Summer is one of the seasons.T:How many seasons are there in a year?What are they?

S:Four.呈现四季的图片,并分别操练四季的天气。而后创设天气预报的情境,让生在情境之中渗透Whats the weather like in Suzhou\Beijing…?Its…

(巧妙铺垫,过渡自然,教学中我注重了内容的层次性,趣

味性)

②T:Whats the weather like in New York?I dont know.SuYangs dad doesnt know either.Su Yang is asking Ben some questions about the weather in New York for her dad.If youre Su Yang.What are your questions?

(教师给学生提供了一个自由发挥的平台,让学生展开想象的翅膀,充分发挥主观能动性)

③Watch the cartoon and try to answer the questions.Do you want to know more about the weather in New York?Lets listen to the tape about the weather in spring,summer,autumn and repeat it.Then try to choose the right answers.

(让生带着问题阅读,全班一起参与,互相协作,解决问题)

④T:What about winter there?Listen and repeat,then try to answer the questions.

T:Whats the weather like in winter?Which season does Ben like best?Why?

S:Its cold in winter. S:He likes…Because he can…T:Which season do you like best?Why?

(由文本过渡到生活实际,由师生对话过渡到生生操练,通过这样一个任务型的活动,既达到训练语言的目的,锻炼了学生听、说、读的能力,又激发了学生的交际欲望)

⑤Read the text and fill in the blanks on page39.Describe the weather in New York.

(经过前面的学习,学生已经储备了大量与天气相关的信息,写说作为巩固的方法,是一个输出的过程,可以检测学生的学习效果)

(3)Step3.Consolidation.

How about the weather in our hometown?Discuss in pairs and fill in the form.

Which season in Dongtai do you like best?Why?

I like…best.Because I like…I see…I wear…I can…

Wonderful,can you write down the four seasons in Dongtai and the different things you do in each season.Think and write.

T:All of us like the fine weather.What can we do?I think we should…

Show a sentence“Love nature,love life.”

(运用所学的句型畅想心中的好天气,联想爱护地球、爱护环境,进行思想教育的升华)

(4)Step4. Homework.

①Listen and recite the text.

②Describe the weather in Dongtai.

(作业让学生感受成功的喜悦,培养继续学习英语的兴趣)

(5)Step5. Enjoy a song for the Earth Day.

(让学生在愉悦的情境中学习英语,让师生心灵共鸣,激发学习英语的持久的兴趣,促进课堂教学实效性的进一步提升)
