在现代交通系统的支撑下,高铁站点及其周边不再是单一的交通集散空间,而是整合交通、商业、商务、文化娱乐、会展、信息服务的城市新型功能混合区,并成为新的社会经济与文化交流中心,是重构城市空间结构与展现城市空间特色的重要机遇。一方面,站城地区作为城市重大工程项目,具有塑造新时期城市空间骨架的触媒作用。然而,目前已经存在的大量新城建设、不断涌现的各种综合服务中心、老城中心的更新与复苏等,如何协同它们之间的平衡发展关系成为站点地区开发的难题。另一方面,站城地区作为与其他城市联系的门户,担负着展示城市空间特色的窗口作用。但以往的规划设计一味地追求站房的雄伟和标志性,追求广场或轴线的气派,缺乏地域和地方的特点,既造成了投资上的浪费,还给旅客的出行带来了不便,如何协调站点地区与其他地区的尺度、风貌、交通等空间关系也应受到重视。
空间基因研究为以上问题提供了新的解决思路。基于城市尺度的空间基因,可以在城市总体层面上对站点地区及其他地区进行整合和协调,梳理城市整体空间秩序;基于街区尺度的空间基因研究,可以将本土空间组合模式与综合交通枢纽站房、商业商务地块、集散广场、景观轴线等空间要素有机融合,强化尺度与风貌的控制引导,创造形象与功能兼备的在地性枢纽核心区,由此实现站点地区与城市整体空间效益的双赢。以下以南京站、南京南站、苏州站为例进行介绍。□

On the one hand, the station area, as a major urban engineering project, has the catalytic role of shaping the urban spatial structure in the new era.However, how to coordinate the balanced developing relationship between the existing large number of new city construction, the emergence of various comprehensive service centres, and the renewal and recovery of the old city centre has become a complex problem in the development of station areas.On the other hand, as a gateway to connect with other cities, the station area serves as a window to display the characteristics of urban space.However, the previous planning and design blindly pursued the majestic and iconic station buildings,the style of the square or the axis, lacking regional and local characteristics, which not only caused a waste of investment, but also brought inconvenience to the travel of passengers.How to coordinate the spatial relationship between the station area and other areas should also be paid attention to.
