PEP《英语》三（下）出现了Boys and girls,we have two new friends today(P4).句子中的and意思是“和；与”。

1.表示联合，意为“和”“又”“而且”。如：

Talk about your teacher and your friend（三下P9）.谈一谈你的老师和你的朋友。

I cleaned my room and washed my clothes.（六下P14）我打扫了房间，而且还洗了衣服。

2.在口语中用在come,go,run,stay,stop,try等之后表示目的，大致相当于不定式符号to。如：

Come and have juice with us.过来跟我们一起喝果汁。

3.用在good,nice,fine等之后，表示“很”“挺”。如：

The book is good and expensive.这本书很贵。4.用于连接两个相同的词语，表示连续性。如：The bus ran faster and faster.汽车开得越来越快。

The girls laughed and laughed.这些女孩子们笑个不停。

5.用在祈使句后，表示结果，意为“那么”。如：

Work hard and you’ll succeed.努力工作，你就会成功。
