介绍一位高中新生第一天到校观察和接触到的人和事物以及个人的感受,内容紧密结合学生的现实生活。在教学中可以根据学校,班级的情况,布置学生一份简历,做一个小册子,介绍自己的学校。
(1)掌握含有-ed结尾的词的发音规则并能准确读出。
(2)复习一般现在时的三种不同的用法,学习以-ing和-ed 结尾的形容词。
语言技能目标
(1)听懂有关学校介绍的 并获取信息;听懂其他材料介绍的学校情况并获取信息;识别所学的生词,词语和含有-ing 和-ed 的派生词,听懂它们在句子和段落的意义并获取信息。
(2)能说出Everyday English介绍的使对话继续进行的表达方式;熟练地和同学讨论本模块布置的话题;熟练地介绍学校或班级的情况;流利说出含有本模块生词、短语和含有-ing 、-ed的句子和段落。
(3)理解所学生词、短语和含有-ing、-ed的句子和段落并获取信息;理解模块及同学提供的介绍学校的材料并获取信息。
(4)熟练写出含有一般现在时的句子和段落;熟练完成模块所要求的各种书面表达;比较自如地写出介绍学校情况的文章。
教学内容和目标:
1.学习本课与高中学习科目有关的生词。
2.通过讨论问答学习生词,为阅读活动做准备
教学过程:
Task 1:__Talk about the favourite or difficult subjects and the reasons
Pre-task Brainstorming
Ask students to bring out as many words about the subjects as possible
(work in pairs)then collect the answers from students
Task-cycle Learn the new words and review the old ones by using
Activity 1 Classify the words about the subjects
Check the answers by raising the questions in Ex 1 on page 1 or the Ex 6 on page 68
Activity 2 Ask Ss do Ex 2 individually–complete the sentences and a reason and then show the answers in a group of 4
Post-task:Describe the favourite or difficult subjects
Activity 1 collect some expressions or sentence patterns that can be used to describe the likes or dislikes
Activity 2 oral composition--- My favourite /difficult subjects

Activity 1 Discuss the 3 questions in Ex1 on page 2 in pairs
1.What are the main difference between Junior High school and Senior High school?
2. Do you think that work at Senior High school is harder than at Junior High school?
3.Are Senior High teachers similar to Junior High teachers?
(if the Ss have difficulty in talking, give them some tips and help)
Activity 2 Guess the meaning of the words and discuss the English study
1.Read the questions in Ex 2 and ask Ss to guess the meaning of the following of the words

2.Ask Ss to answer those questions and learn more words
3.work in pairs and get Ss to share the answers by asking and answering

教学反思:
本课堂的安排是为整个模块学习做好话题内容和词汇方面的准备和铺垫。目的在于为学习创造气氛,激发兴趣。在学习生词时,训练联想,对比和归纳等认知策略,训练用英语进行初步思考。
