《How about the person》教学设计

在初中阶段，英语写作是学生感到最头痛的问题，且容易被教师忽视，初中英语作文的种类也很多，下面是我就英语作文的其中一种类型“仿写”所作的一节课的教学设计：《How about the person》。

教学目标：让学生学会从以下几方面描述一个人：

1.出生日期。2.外表。3.工作。4.个性。5.喜好。6.特长。

教学手段：多媒体

教学步骤：

第一个环节：创设情景，导入新课

出示人物图片“李宇春”，学生回答问题：（1）Who is this？（2）When was she born？（3）What does she look like？

设计意图：通过回答以上三个问题，让学生学会描述一个人的外表。李宇春是大部分学生的偶像，出示此图片可以激发学生的学习兴趣。

第二个环节：presentation（知识介绍）

教师介绍一个人可以从以下几个方面来描述：

1.date of birth .e.g ：He was born in 1983.

2.job.e.g：He is a football player.

3.appearance（What does he look like？）e.g：He is tall.

4.personality.e.g：He is friendly and outgoing.

5.likes and dislikes.e.g：He likes reading.

6.specialty.e.g：He is good at playing football.

设计意图：给出描述人物需要描述的六个方面，并给出例句，为后面的仿写作铺垫。

第三个环节：revise and practice（復习及操练）

1.看图说话：出示邓亚萍图片，抽取学生描述邓亚萍的外表等，每个学生说一个句子。

2.给出材料：

（1）start to play table tennis（5years old）

（2）joined the Henan tennis team（1983）

（3）got the national champion（13 years old）

（4）joined the national table tennis team（at the age of 15）

（5）went to Tsinghua University（1997）

3.让学生根据以上材料及前面学生所述写一篇关于邓亚萍的短文。

4.抽取学生朗读自己所写的短文。

5.给出范文《A well-known ping-pong player ——Deng Yaping》范文（略）

设计意图：先让学生从说进一步转化到写，然后是读，使学生在说、读、写三方面都得到一定的训练。给出范文，目的在于让学生把自己所写的短文和范文相比较，发现自己的优点和不足，为下一步的写作作好铺垫。

第四个环节：writing（写作训练）

1.出示刘翔图片并给出材料，让学生写一篇关于刘翔的短文。

材料：

（1）started to learn running（1993）

（2）got the gold medal（1996）

（3）won the world champion（2001）

（4）made the world record（2006）

2.抽取学生朗读自己所写的短文，读完后，全班同学给予掌声鼓励。

第五个环节：homework（家庭作业）

Write about a person you admire（写一写你欣赏的人）
