Abstract: The establishment of the first united front of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China was the main theme of the 3rd National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The process of the congress went through a series of twists and turns, from the Party’s 2nd National Congress to the West Lake Conference and finally to the Party’s 3rd National Congress, with intense struggles both in support of and against cooperation. The Communist International, the Kuomintang, and the Communist Party of China were the three relevant parties in the establishment of the united front, represented by Ma Lin, Chen Duxiu, and Sun Yat-sen. They all made significant contributions and had serious shortcomings. Ma Lin brought the new idea of national liberation by Lenin into China, organized the convening of the 1st and 3rd National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and established the united front of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China, which was Ma Lin’s major contribution to China. Sun Yat-sen was the ideal leader of the Kuomintang-Communist cooperation. However, Ma Lin overestimated the Kuomintang and underestimated the Communist Party, and did not compete for the leadership of the united front, which influenced and led to Chen Duxiu’s rightist mistake, sowing the seeds of the failure of the Great Revolution. The 3rd National Congress of the Communist Party of China opened up a "great transformation" of Marxism from a study in the study room to the practice of the Chinese revolution, and the united front not only symbolized this transformation but also has been interwoven with the past hundred years and the foreseeable future of the Communist Party of China. The new era has demonstrated its significance and value.

Abstract: Against the background that the inspection compensation system is still at the stage of exploration and establishment, and the semantic meaning of the relevant legal provisions is ambiguous and controversial, the principle of favoring the victim should be established to interpret the relevant provisions of inspection compensation, so as to solve the interpretation difficulties of the inspection compensation system. The victim-friendly principle can be applied to the determination of continuous infringement, the establishment of the compensating authority, and the field of remedy for the damage of administrative discipline. The supervisory detention and seizure measures should be recognized as continuing infringement; the supervisory authority that approved the act, the supervisory authority that dispatched it, and the supervisory authority that offered assistance in its duties should be the compensating authority; and the damage caused by the administrative disciplinary measures should be covered by the supervisory compensation under certain conditions. It should be noted that the application of the principle of benefit to the victim must be grasped under the premise that the law does not explicitly provide for it.

Abstract: Zhang Xuecheng’s scholarship answers the needs of the times, reflects the spirit of the times, and embodies the wisdom of the times. First and foremost, Zhang Xuecheng’s exploration of the "Dao" demonstrates with great wisdom that the "Dao" is constantly evolving, that sages learn from the people, and that it is essential to comprehend the essence of the Six Classics and adapt them to the present in order to explore the grand Dao. This marks a new frontier in the field of historical philosophy. His philosophical achievements shine with the brilliance of the times, representing exceptional accomplishments in academic thought during the Qianlong and Jiaqing periods. Secondly, his critique of tedious textual criticism paved the way for more rigorous criticism by later figures such as Gong Zizhen and Wei Yuan, and it spurred a second peak of practical learning and application in the Qing Dynasty. Thirdly, Zhang Xuecheng proposed a direction for reforming historical compilation, providing valuable inspiration for famous scholars of the modern era such as Liang Qichao, Zhang Taiyan, and Bai Shouyi. Finally, he put forth an educational thoughts based on "nature" and "emotion," advocating independent thinking and opposing blind adherence to dogma and conformity. These ideas radiated the brilliance of the modern era. Standing at the vantage point of the present, it is an important task of academic research to summarize the essence of Zhang Xuecheng’s theories, interpret the Chinese wisdom that shines within them, and objectively evaluate his significant position in intellectual history.

Abstract: Compared to other art forms, sculpture relies more on materials and the technology behind them. The exploration and application of materials have been integral to the entire history of sculpture, determining its various forms of expression and conceptual representation during different periods. Making the correct choices within the intricate "physicality" of materials and achieving the unity of form and content in sculptural creation largely depend on our profound understanding of the fundamental properties of materials.
