How many days are in a year？  How many hours are in a day？ How many minutes are in an hour？  How many seconds are in a minute？  How many seconds are in a day？

There is a magic bank account （銀行账户）. Every day， $86，400 is put into the account. The account doesnt keep the money forever， though. In fact， youll lose all the money if you dont spend it within that day. So youd better spend it all and make each dollar count！

All of us have a bank like this. Its called time. Every morning， you have 86，400 seconds to spend. But at the end of the day， those seconds are lost and a new day begins. Your “balance（余额）” doesnt carry over to the next day. You cant use more time than you are given. Each day， your “account” starts fresh.

Thats why you have to make every day count. Do something fun. Do something difficult. Do something that surprises yourself. Do something kind. The important thing is to realize how important and precious （宝贵的） your time is. One day， youll reach the end of your life and you wont have any time left to spend at all. When you look back at your life then， how will you want to remember it？

Dont wait until your “bank” closes for good. Spend your time wisely（明智地） and youll live a more meaningful life.
