ReiUzawa，presidentofmaternityclothingmakerSweetMommy，saysshewasmotivatedtocreateitafterseeingherownpetchihuahuaexhaustedeverytimeitwastakenoutforawalkinthescorchingsummerheat.

“Therewasalmostnorainyseasonthisyear，sothehotdayscameearly，andinthatsense，Ithinkwedevelopedaproductthatisrightforthemarket，”shesaid.

AftertherainyseasoninTokyoendedinlateJune，theJapanesecapitalsufferedthelongestheatwaveonrecordwithtemperaturesupto35degreesCelsius（95Fahrenheit）forninedays.

ThedevicedebutedinearlyJulyandSweetMommyhasreceivedaround100ordersfortheproduct，Uzawasaid.Itcomesinfivedifferentsizesandispricedat9，900yen（$74）.

孕妇装制造商SweetMommy的总裁ReiUzawa称，她发现自己的宠物吉娃娃每次在酷热的夏天出去散步时都热得无精打采，因此受到启发。

Uzawa称：“今年几乎没有雨季，所以高温天气来得早，从这个意义上说，我认为我们开发了一种符合市场需求的产品。”

日本首都东京的雨季6月底结束，之后遭遇了有史以来最长的热浪，连续九天气温高达35摄氏度。

48岁的熊本真美养了一只小型贵宾犬布丁和一只小猎犬马科，她说：“我通常用干冰包（给狗狗降温）。但我认为如果戴上这个风扇，遛狗会更方便。”

Uzawa称，这款风扇于7月初推出，公司已经收到约100份订单。有五种不同尺寸，售价约为74美元（约合人民币500元）。
