My Dream

【Abstract】Dreams are of importance to us. My dream is to work as an actress. I want to be that source of inspiration for others.

Dreams are of importance to us. Life ends when you stop dreaming. I am glad to share my dream with you. Everybody has a dream .Martin Luther King had a dream——and we can all recall his famous Civil Rights speech .As a vocational college student, I also have my own dream. That is to be an actress .

Dreams give us the courage to overcome obstacles, fill us with hope and passion, lead us to the path we want to follow, and make us achieve the seemingly impossible. Many great people in the world are dreamers. Having dreams doesnt mean that they have their heads intheclouds. Instead, fueled with the powerof dreams, they take risks, meetchallenges,andfinallyachieve.

What do I want to do when I finally graduate school? I want to work in the film industry. More specifically, I want to work as an actress. I love that feeling when Im on stage or on camera. That feeling when I play another character and can experience different types of lives. No matter if I am playing the role of hero or villain, performing in a comedy or drama or have a minor or major role, I would have a great time and more importantly, an opportunity to inspire people.

The first time I was inspired by a performance was when watching a show called “Boy Meets World” .It made me cry, laugh, and want to make changes in my life. It made me want to help others and make a positive difference in the world. They talked about issues that happen all throughout life. Violence, substance abuse, bullying and other issues that need a voice. Thats part of the reason why I want to become an actress. Actreses tell stories that can sometimes inspire people. That inspiration can lead to a great idea, a life change, an eye opener, or something else that is equally as incredible.

Young people nowadays are at a point where they get a lot of influence from the shows that they watch on TV. Those shows can sometimes make or break a kid. Therefore, they need the best influences they can get. I grew up on shows like “Kim Possible”, “Boy Meets World”, “Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” “Thats So Raven” and many more . These shows helped to teach me about morals and life, and these things helped to make me the person that I am today. I want to be that source of inspiration for others, and not just for young people, but for people of all ages. I would love to have the chance to hear from a fan of mine that I inspired them to be better.

I love to inspire change. I dont want to be an actress to become super famous or rich. I think its the best way to make change in todays society. We are all connected to film and TV nowadays, so why not do something good with that connection. I hope all of you let me inspire your lives someday.
