教学过程
一、歌曲导入,以旧带新,激发学趣
Step 1.Class opening and review
1.Greeting.
T:Hello,class.How are you today?
C:I’m fine.And you?
T:Very good,thanks.Nice to meet you!
C:Nice to meet you,too.
2.Free talk.
T:Hello,boy/girl,how old are you? Is your home near school? Do you walk to school?
C:I am fine.I live near school.I walk to school.
3.Sing a song:This is the way we walk to school.
T:This is the way we walk to school. Do you walk to school?Who walks to school?I don’t walk to school,because I live far from the school.
设计思路:通过师生对话,把学生的注意力吸引到课堂上来。演唱歌曲,为本节课新授知识做好铺垫。设计一些过渡型的对话,循序渐进地引导学生有准备地进入下面的单词学习。
二、视频感知,图片辅助,贴近生活
Step 2.New Concepts:car,bike,bus,taxi,thirty
1.CAI
T:Look!This is my home.This is my school.Ilive far from the school,so I don’t walk to school.I go to school by car.
Show the poster of car to the students.Ask the students to read after me.
Write the word car on the blackboard,stick two posters beside the word and plus-s after the word of car.Show some words such as:arm,farm,park,far.Ask them to read these words.
设计思路:以教师的家离学校远,需要开车上班,引出了单词car。讲解完新词car,出示几个含有ar组合的单词,巧妙夯实了语音知识。通过两辆汽车的卡片,讲解了car单数变复数的规律是直接加-s。
2.Flash
T:There are many vehicles in our daily life.Now let’s watch aflash.You should remember what you have seen.What vehicles did you see?
Train, truck and plane paste the posters on the blackboard directly,taxi,bike and bus are main words.Write them on the blackboard.Ask them to read these words.
设计思路:播放交通小视频的作用是吸引学生的注意力,为接下来三个交通工具的学习打下基础,再利用图片加深学生对单词的记忆。将新词bike以换字母的“老鞋新路”形式呈现给学生,不仅帮助学生理解了词意,而且适当复习了i-e结构的发音规则。通过两辆公共汽车的卡片,讲解了bus单数变复数的规律是要加-es。

Drill the sentence in pairs.
板书:How do you go to school? I go to school by______.
设计思路:在讲授单词时,把单词融入到句型中去,做到词不离句。句型的板书是一个亮点,通过把问句写在一个大大的问号中,使板书更加形象贴切。由师生对话扩展到生生对话,巩固对话教学。在这个活动中,教师是参与者、帮助者,学生是活动的主体。
3.CAI text

C:You go to the restaurant by car.

设计思路:活动的设计要和语言的使用相配合。通过去四个学生熟悉的地点要乘坐不同的交通工具,最大限度地调动学生多种感官同时参与教学活动,学生在活动中能进行交流和运用所学知识。
三、游戏激趣,创设情境,巩固新知
Step 3.Practice
1.Game:Guess,how?
Ask one student to come to the front,the others ask him:How do you go to school?Teacher chooses one of the poster of vehicles and ask him to guess.
2.Practice with a map.
CAI show a map of many places. Ask the students to make a dialogue.
C1:How do you go to______?
C2:I go to ______ by______.
设计思路:猜猜游戏不仅可以活跃课堂气氛,还可以增强学生的反应能力,加速学生的大脑反应速度,更是巩固句型的一种好方法。出示一张城市地图(具有多个地点,如公园、饭店、电影院等),引导学生在活动中灵活使用所学语言,达到巩固新知的目的。同时使练习不乏趣味性,让学生始终保持学习英语的热情。
四、公交路线,复习数字,倡导绿色出行
Step 4.New word:thirty
On Tuesday,I go to school by bus.I take Bus No.23 to go to school.
Show the students some buses,review numbers from 1 to 29.Countfrom 1 to29 with students.
Then teach 30.
Game:Count by three.
设计思路:通过教师因限号乘坐23路公交车上班,复习了20-29的数字表达法。同时引出数字30的教学,并对学生进行绿色出行的教育。和学生们一起玩3的倍数的游戏,也是检查学生对数字掌握情况的一个好方法。
五、体验角色,运用句型,形成语用
Step 5.Present
Magic driver
Teacher chooses some drivers.They walk around the class.If some students want to get on,the driver can ask:How do you go to_____?
The passenger should say:I go to______ by...If the passengersaysthe rightsentence,he can get on.
设计思路:活动的设计要和语言的使用相配合。引导学生在活动中灵活使用所学语言,达到巩固新知的目的,同时使练习不乏趣味性,让学生始终保持英语学习的热情。
六、问题引导,拓展延伸,练习书写
Step 6.Make a survey
Ask the partners“How do you go to ______?”(Beijing/Hainan/Tianjin)Thenwritedown the vehicles in the chart.
设计思路:问伙伴乘坐什么交通工具去不同的地点,根据同伴的回答,把交通工具写在表格中,目的是能在课本知识的基础上拓展和延伸,同时练习书写新单词。
七、旅游方式,学以致用,作业分层
Step 7.Class closing
1.Travelling.
T: I like travelling. I’ll show you some picturesabout my trip.Tellthe students to study hard.
2.Homework.
(1)Write each of five new words four times.
(2)Ask friends or parents about travelling and make a chart?
设计思路:出示教师去不同城市所乘坐的交通工具的照片,再次把所学运用到生活实际中去,让学生说一说自己去旅游时乘坐的交通工具。分层作业根据课堂任务内容,以个人形式完成,使课外作业与任务型语言课堂教学融为一体。作业与课堂学习任务及学生的生活经历有关,既复习和强化所学知识,变机械学习为有意义的学习,又可以为学生提供展示个性和能力的舞台。
