設计意图:本单元的阅读部分是从地理、历史和文化等方面介绍英国的成立和发展。首先,激励学生根据老师所提的几个问题预测本节阅读课将会谈论到什么?然后让学生快速阅读全文,找出每个自然段的中心句,最后让学生细读文章,完成一些指定的阅读任务,并且还与同伴一起讨论该用什么样的方式解决祖国的统一问题。为了巩固所了解的知识,课后写一篇关于英国的文章。以培养学生的预测、归纳、推理、总结的能力,从而为提高学生的阅读能力打下坚实的基础。

教学反思
本节课是一节阅读课,通过一些小测试任务,让学生从地理、历史、文化、政治几个方面去了解英国的形成、发展以及它的人文景观和风土人情,让学生對英国有一个比较全面的了解。
根据自己对教材的分析,围绕文章的主题,设计导入、快速阅读、精读、总结和讨论几个环节。通过自主完成和与同伴讨论的方式让学生由浅入深地去了解文章的内容,提高学生的查找信息的能力,从而提高学生的阅读水平,掌握一定的阅读技巧,旨在培养学生的推测、判断、归纳、推理和总结的能力。但是,由于我校是四类高中,学生的基础知识十分薄弱,因此所设计的任务大部分都是学生在文章中能找到的,只有极少数需要他们去整理语言。大部分学生完成较好,参与度高,课堂气氛活跃。可是,有一部分同学仍然不能完成老师所指定的任务。原因是他们的词汇量太少,无法翻译一些长句。在以后的教育教学中,要注重扩大学生们的词汇量,提高学生的翻译能力,从而更好地提高学生的阅读能力。endprint
