【教學内容】
牛津小学英语5B Unit 8 Birthdays Story time
【教材简解】
本板块通过Miss Li询问Su Hai, Mike的生日,他们分别描述生日当天的情形学习句型:Whens your birthday? What do you do on your birthday? 及回答Its on... I usually...并通过此板块学习新词组:have a big dinner, eat some noodles, play with Kitty, have a party, buy a birthday cake, eat the birthday cake, play some games, have a great time, have a lot of fun.
【设计理念】
本节课是五下第8单元的第一课时,是一节语篇教学课。现代课堂阅读教学结构大体上分为三个阶段:阅读前、阅读中和阅读后,目的是确保通过阅读教学帮助学生形成处理文本的能力。本节课中,我深度挖掘教材资源,遵循整体——局部——整体的教学思路,注重前后知识的联系,让语言学习在真实的、自然的师生互动中进行;同时为学生提供思考和语言交际的机会,让英语课堂成为学生彰显个性的舞台。
【教学目标】
1.能听懂、会读、会说单词:eleventh, eighth, together, play games.
2.能听懂、会读、会说日常用语:Whens your birthday? What do you do on your birthday? 及回答Its on... I usually...
3.能正确地理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。
4.能了解中西方文化中不同的生日风俗习惯。

2.能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型询问别人的生日以及如何过生日。

1.Its me.
T: Look, its me. My English name is Rose. And my birthday is on the first of April. This is the first of April, and this is the second of April. How do we say it? (引导学生说出四月三日) Can you circle the eighth of April? (引导学生猜eighth 的意思,并学习单词eighth,及词组the eighth of April)
T: (课件出示五月份的日历)I think, May is the most important month of a year. Because Mothers Day is in it. When is Mothers Day? (引导学生说出 on the eleventh of May, 并学习eleventh)

【设计思路】设计让学生复述课文,一方面可以检查他们对新知识的掌握情况,另一方面可以培养他们自己组织语言材料进行口语交际的能力,让他们能够学以致用,也使整个课文的处理呈现出层层推进,由浅入深,层次分明,课文的复述是对学生提出的最高要求。
