在“阅读+课程”研究框架下,我校英语组积极响应“让读书成为我们的第四餐”的龙川阅读口号,积极践行英语阅读行动计划,倡导学生每周阅读英语课外书籍不少于1小时,3~6年级每周2节英语晨读课,每周1节英语导读课。以英语导读课研究为课程开发的主阵地,探索学生课外自主阅读与教师课内导读相结合的阅读策略,有效进行阅读方法、技巧的指导,努力达成学生爱阅读、会阅读的良好局面。对于各个年级段的指导,我们的侧重点是不一样的:中年级我们注重学生兴趣的激发,强化诵读与体悟,高年级我们侧重学生的感悟与表达。在不同的阅读中为孩子的每一天注入新鲜的活力。吉老师执教的内容是我校英语阅读工程选用的三年级阅读绘本Floppy and the bone。
这个故事讲述了Floppy和他的朋友们外出散步,Floppy 在路途中看见骨头,抢到骨头,叼着骨头一路从小山、丛林奔跑到小桥上。然后他发现水里也有一只叼着骨头的狗,他也想要那只骨头,于是他跳进了水里,最后他却什么也没有得到。这是一篇很好的阅读材料,这个故事告诉我们人不能贪得无厌的道理。
吉老师从pre reading,while-reading 到post-reading设计了这节课,读前设计一个30秒的Floppy自述,在这个自述前和学生进行有关Floppy 信息的Free talk,帮助学生有效自述。读中,吉老师设置层层推进的阅读任务,让学生读懂绘本故事。通过predict,scan,observe,listen,read,look,circle,guess等活动设置不同难度、不同层次的问题,帮助学生扩展阅读思维,提高阅读技巧,提高阅读质量,提高阅读速度和效率,有效提高阅读能力。读后,设计了read and have a jigsaw puzzle,通过学生读自己的片段,再组内分享自己的片段,最后小组合作拼图,而这个拼图呈现的正是阅读文本中的“大骨头”,这个教学环节设计是一个亮点,创新,新颖,能激发学生的阅读兴趣,提高学生阅读的积极性,增强学生的小组合作意识。
