本项目主要功能为接待来农庄观光旅游休闲采摘的各类人群。

建筑的原始构思首先是把它想象成是从大地生长出来的体量。根据不同功能向南横向展开，在核心部位设置挑高大堂使其达到空间的高潮。波形变化的屋脊线来源于对中国民居村落感的呼应。平面房间的不规则组合是想体现传统村落的自然生长性，檐下的灰色空间和不规则的巷道连接方式，也是对中国传统空间文化的表现和借鉴。建筑材料选择上，则着重强调的是非机械化、非成品化的人工感和手工制作感。包括完全自然的片岩、铸铁人工焊接的门窗、麦秸纤维板、白铁皮、红砖、清水混凝土等，都是最低廉、最常见的建筑材料。尤其是锈蚀钢板表面随时间的变化，更赋予了建筑一种生命力与岁月的流逝感。在当今盛行参数化高科技的年代，这种纯手工打造建筑质感的做法和其独有的朴实气质，就显得弥足珍贵。

The main function of this building is to serve for visitors coming to the farm for tourism, leisure and fruit picking. As the site is located in a green farmland, the original concept is to create a building growing out of the ground. The wavy roof originates from the traditional Chinese villages, creating a dynamic and organic building form. The irregular layout, the grey space under the eaves and the intersecting alleys all respond to the traditional Chinese space.The building materials, including natural schist, cast iron window frames, straw fiberboards, galvanized sheets, red bricks, concrete and etc., are carefully selected to give the building a non-industrial and handcraft texture. Particularly, the steel panels will change over time and provide the building with a dynamic appearance of life and time. In the present digital age, the handcraft characteristics of the building are especially an invaluable quality showing a humble gesture.
