Step 1 Lead-in:(7)
1.Greet the Ss.
2.Appreciate a film , and use some pictures to lead in the topic—cloning.
Purpose:To attract Ss interest and lead to the passage.
Step 2 Fast reading:(8)
1.Read the passage as soon as possible and answer the questions.
2.Check the answers and correct the wrong answers.
Purpose:To try to get to know the main ideas of the
passage.
Step 3 Careful Reading:(15)
1.Read the passage as carefully as Ss can and pay attention to the structure of the passage.
2.Translate the passage into Chinese.
3.Explain the language points in the passage.
Purpose:To train Ss reading ability and understand
the main ideas of the passage better.
Step 4 Do Exercises:(7)
Activity: Complete the small article with the words you have learned in the passage.

教学反思:
这节课是本模块第二课时也就是精读课,学生要掌握的知识点较多。总的来说,这节课是比较成功的一节课。学生预习较好,主体性强,课堂气氛活跃,多媒体课件的运用使学生较清晰地理解并掌握了课文的主旨大意,但相关知识点的练习题做得较少,今后应注意讲练结合的正确运用。
