设计理念:

一、幽默是英语的灵魂,它奔流在不列颠民族的血液里,弥漫在英语文学作品里,它可以美化生活,使紧张平淡的生活显出知性、放出异彩,多一点幽默就少一点粗鲁和无理,多一点幽默就少一点刻薄和冲突,多一点幽默就多一点笑声和和谐。

二、长期以来,英语教学中复习这一环节总避免不了“炒冷饭”式的重复和单调的题海训练,固然适量讲解和练习是必要的,但是对学生的学习兴趣和积极性有负面影响,缺乏热情的被动的复习不但不能提高学生的学习能力而且也不能促进学生将所学知识加以运用,本人受到一年在美国交流教学的影响和阅读中得到的启发,尝试将英语知识的复习和英语幽默结合起来,让学生笑着复习英语,将学英语和快乐、幽默和笑声联系起来,不但给他们良好的刺激和心理

暗示,同时完成教学中复习的环节,为了创新,付出双倍的时间准备和设计是值得的,也是有意义的。

教学目标:

1. 在导学案的指导下激起学生学英语的兴趣和好奇心。

2. 指导学生欣赏英语中的幽默。

3. 通过创设幽默生动的氛围以及呈现英美生活情境来提高学生的幽默感。

4. 教育学生注意文明礼貌并且帮助他们掌握一些日常生活常识。

5. 培养学生乐观的生活态度并学会寓学于乐。

教学手段:多媒体、PPT、录音、声音资料、图像等

教学步骤:

一、导入

1. 介绍本课的学习目标、学习风格和方法。

2. 以一则英语笑话开始, 旨在创设幽默快乐的学习氛围。

3. 从这则英语笑话中总结并适当联想出以往所学英语知识点。(划线处为中英文互译)

(1.) on the ferry 在渡船上

(2.) board / go aboard the ship / train /plane 登上轮船、火车、飞机

二、 猜如何用英语应答以完成幽默对话

1. 对话

---Do you think I have a gift for playing the piano?

---No, but Ill give you one if you stop playing!

* 语言点总结

(1) gift=talent

(2) be gifted in / at= be talented in / at

(3 ) have a gift / talent for 有某方面的天赋

(4) 周杰伦有音乐天赋。他还有创作和演唱的天赋。

Jay Zhou has a gift for music and he is talented both in composing and singing as well.

三、做个会讲笑话的人——表演时间

介绍规则:

Read a joke fast and try to act it out by adding some body language like facial expressions to polish up the effect. Find your partner and make preparations

* Make up a funny dialogue (You can add your own words).

* Act it out.

(1). A man went to a hospital for a new brain. He was given a choice between two brains—an engineers for $20,000 or a politicians for $500,000. He asked the doctor: “ Does that mean the politicians brain is much better?” “Not exactly” , replied the doctor, “ Its because the politicians brain has never been used.”

(2). One week after he arrived in prison, Walter Gideon had his appendix removed. Soon after that he had two fingers cut off after an accident in the prison kitchen. The head of prison said to one of the wardens: “ Keep an eye on him. I think hes trying to escape bit by bit.”

四、評价和思想教育

T:You have done a good job! Im impressed! Im proud of you!

Remember: An old saying goes that life is like a mirror. If you smile to it, it will smile

back to you. So try to find the joyful things in life and enjoy the happiness of learning, especially English!

五、课后作业:

Try writing funny stories or dialogues inspired by your daily life in English.

Pay attention to the language points and grammar of English as well.

教学效果和反思:

尽管本课的教学内容并非具体某一课内容,课型也是创新复习课,但是在设计和组织课堂活动时仍采用学生熟悉的‘导学练的方法,以‘导学案作为教与学的纽带,由教师牵引学生畅游英语知识的海洋,温故而知新,师生同享学习之乐,升华思想境界,科学的教和自主的学有机结合,在轻松幽默的氛围中重温英语知识,感受英语的魅力。

课后广泛征求学生和听课教师的意见,该课得到普遍好评,这给与教学创新很大的鼓励和动力,本人将做出不懈努力,继续在英语教学中探索更能体现英语语言之美的教与学的正能量。
