“三级”用法巧判断

初中英语中出现了形容词、副词的三种级别，在实际交谈中，如何判断用哪一“级”，对于初学者却是一个难题，现在教给你一招，不妨一试：

1.如果句中有very， so， as（so）…as， too这些词中的某一个出现，则用原级：

1）Theboyisveryhungry.这个男孩很饥饿。

2）Ourteacheroften comes to school so early.我们老师经常这么早来学校。

3）Fish and chips are very popular in USA .在美国鱼和炸土豆非常流行。

4）He is so happy.他如此高兴。

5）Lucy is as carful as Meimei.露西和梅梅一样细心。

6）He doesnt come as early as Lin Tao.他不如林涛来得早。

7）Itt too hot today.今天天气太热。

2.当句中有than ， much， a little， still， even时，特别是有than的情况下，常用比较级。如：

1）I think its much nicer in a paper bag than in the open air.我想在室外比在纸袋中味道更好。

2）I like pork better than beef.与牛肉比我更喜欢猪肉。

3）Come to school a little earlier next time.下次早点到校。

4）We went there still earlier today than yesterday.今天我们比昨天去那儿更早。

3.句中有“one of the+名词的复数形式”，或短语of（in）时，用最高级，如：

1）I like tomatoes best of all.所有（食物）中，我最喜欢西红柿。

2）China is one of the biggest countries in the world.中国是世界上最大的国家之一。

3）KateCreenisthe youngest of the three girls.凯特格林是三个女孩中最年轻的。

4）Of all the stars the sun is the nearest to the earth.所有恒星中，太阳离地球最近。

5）———Whats the most popular food in Hong Kong today？

———Fast food.I think.当今香港最流行的食物是什么？我认为是快餐。

6）This is the nicest of all.在所有的东西中，这个最好。

7）Whats the best sports

in summer？夏季最好的运动是什么？
