Good morning,ladies and gentlemen. Its my honor to reveal my analysis of English lesson here. This lesson I will talk about Comparative Adjectives.Then I will present my speaking lesson draft as the following parts.
Part One: Teaching material
A. Status and function
The topic of this lesson is about comparative adjectives. Such topic is related to daily life of students, so it is helpful to raise learning interest of students and it will be helpful to improve their spoken English.It also improve students listening and speaking ability.
B. Teaching Aims and Demands
The focus of teaching should be laid on grasping key vocabulary and structures, and developing the students ability of communication. So Ive designed the following aims and demands.
1. Knowledge objects
Key vocabulary: fatter, thinner, shorter, taller, longer, bigger, smaller, faster, slower.
Target language: A + be + comparative adjective+ than + B
2. Ability objects
To train students ability of listening and speaking.
To train students ability of communication.
3. Moral objects
Encourage students to speak or communicate in class or in their daily life if they find something they learned.
C. Teaching key points and difficult points
1. Key points
Key words: fatter, thinner, shorter, taller, longer, bigger, smaller, faster, slower.
Key structure: A + be + comparative adjective+ than + B
2. Difficult points
How to train and improve students speaking ability.
How to use the words and key sentences correctly in students daily life.
D. Analysis of the students
The students have learned English for about three years so far. Although most of the students are from the urban, they can understand some words and some simple sentences.
1.Some students dont have large vocabulary.
2.The students seldom communicate in English in moral times.
3.Some students are lacking in listening and speaking skills.
4.The gap of the students knowledge level in the same class is quite wide.

Part Three: The Learning Method Cooperation
The students will finish some tasks in limited time to improve their listening and speaking skills. The students will take part in some activities like working in pairs, discussing in pairs. Students will become more relaxed and pleased in this kind of environment.
Part Four: Teaching Procedures
Step 1 Leading in
T: Good morning, boys and girls!
Ss: Good morning, Miss Guo!
T: (Take out a ruler) What is it?
Ss: It is a ruler.
T: (Take out a pencil) What is it?
Ss: It is a pencil.
T: Which is long? Which is short?
The opposite word of long is short. And the opposite word of short is long. Can you tell me the opposite words of the following words?
fat____ big____ tall_____ fast_____
Purpose of my designing: I think it is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the students and at the same time it is necessary to provide situations to review learned knowledge for the next step and present some new words and phrases.
Step 2 Study the new words
The teacher shows pictures to learn comparative adjectives.
Step 3 Practice listening and speaking
According to the given words, let students listening and then read following the teacher. After reading and learning, lets read the chant together.
Step 4: Speaking and comparing
Step5 Practicing
The teacher asks two students to stand in front of the class. Compare first and then chant together.
