I was lying by the hotel windows writing my diary from yesterday (August 7th).
I deeply felt the exhausting of the trip and the changeable weather. We left our footprints at many places in London in one day: Tower Bridge, Big Ben, the London Eye, the Royal Parks, Downing Street ... ... I'm afraid I have to count it with my hands and foot, plus the table tennis match in the evening,it was 11 o'clock in the evening when returned to hotel.
Walking in the streets of London, the Big Ben bells echoing my ears, it looks like a guardian with power and prestige, standing by the Thames. The other side of the river is "London Eye”. there are two kinds of arguments about the origin of the name, some said every small tour spot is like a little eye, and some said that when you are at the highest of the Ferris wheel looking down, you will have a panoramic view of the entire city of London. Due to the time constraints, we were not able to ride on the giant Ferris wheel, but I hope that one day I can personally discover the charm of this city at the highest point.
Walking to Downing Street, we were pleasantly surprised to see an imposing Royal mounted corps, the leading one is a handsome white horse, with the rest of all invariably robust dark horse. The red broom-decorative on top of soldiers’ helmet is really powerful.
For the past 200 years Downing Street has always been an important offi cial residence, cabinet offi cials, Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Finance Minister, with countless armed police at the door. One of the soldiers agreed to take pics with us,he has a bright smile. As I walked to the front and asked if I can have a photo with him, his answer is "why not? ”
And then we went to the Royal Park, here is a haven for a variety of small animals. They are so close with human. We can hardly see squirrels on the road in China. You can get close to them and take a pic of them, they even ran to foraging in your hand, so adorable.
Royal Park has very fresh air, countless trees springing up,you can see the refl ection of trees in the lake of central Park, birds, swans, ducks are happily living here I found a kind old man spread out hands to feed a fl ock of birds on a bench in the Park, with full of smiles on his face, I immediately took out the camera and record the wonderful moment ... ...
At night, we watched a exciting Olympic table tennis competition. We put on the Chinese team clothes, holding a fl ag and cheering for China. Everyone clap their hands, Even though Hong Kong lost in the game, I felt warm atmosphere at the scene, which has been treasured in my mind ... ...
