On Characteristics and Main Policies of Zhangjiang Hi-tech Parks Pattern of Innovation Cluster in Shanghai

Abstract:Zhangjiang hi-tech park experiences four stages which embody the substance of industrial agglomeration and technical innovation. There are six characteristics of Zhangjiang hi-tech park pattern of innovation clusters. They are the strict plan and support of government,the management system combined with market,the entrance of the market leader,the introduce of the research institutions,the joint development with regional economic and the advance of the R & D with the industrial merge . Three main types of policies push Zhangjiang hi-tech park forward and they pay closely attention to the capital, human resources and land through monetary and tax policies. Especially, two regulations which were set down in 2000 and 2003 are most important.

Mechanism of Multinational Corporations Divestment and Knock-on Effects of Financial Crisis

Abstract:MNC divestment as inverse process of investment is for its not fulfilling strategy goal such as not achieving expected profit. The factor of MNC divestment can be divided into internal and external determinants. Internal determinants include information asymmetry, operation management adjustment and disappearing of monopolistic advantage. External determinants include disappearing of location advantage of host country, adverse change of macro environment and influence of policy changes. Financial crisis is a form of external knock-on. Global financial crisis in 2008 is an external knock-on in special macro background in China. It makes the global and Chinese economy a marked decline, weakens confidence of MNC in China and amplifies knock-on effect to export trade. But this effect is directed to low technology, extensive operation and small scale MNC. It is useful to attract high quality MNC and adjust construction of FDI in China.

On Industries Transformation and Space Reshaping of the Internationalized City of China: Taking Shanghai as an Example

Abstract:The industries structure reshaping the global city makes urban space reconstruct. The economic transformation toward tertiary industries of the global city in the world makes the central city area regenerate and urban expand. At present, the industries structure of the international city in China is on the way of optimization. At the local primary cities such as Shanghai、Beijing and Guangzhou, the tertiary industries become more and more important. They turn into the primary industries in the city,and makes the urban space structure change. The suburbanization of the internationalized city is accelerating, and the suburb near the central city area is the area where the density of population is promoted most quickly. This makes the urban constructed area expand from the central city area toward periphery. The central city area aggregates the tertiary industries especially the modern service industries. As to its density of living declines, its density of industries is rising; the material and human capital density of the central city become denser.

Abstract:After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia soon starts a drastic reform of ownership of military enterprise. An important measure on Russia's national defense science and technology is "market mechanism to stimulate the combination of the national investment policy". The continuous development of Russian securities market promotes and creates an important condition for the privatization and investment of the Russian military enterprises. The creation of industry-oriented financial system makes Russia's banking sector and real economy mutual penetration. And other measures are financing the implementation of the diversification strategy, to promote high-tech research and development.

Abstract:The cultural construction of clean and honest administration in China needs to understand and summarize the successful practice and useful experience abroad. Learning from the international experience, China's incorrupt culture construction should be based on the construction of culture for anti-corruption system and improvment of the specification of clean and honest administration. Creating the social atmosphere about the clean and honest administration is based on cultivating the moral consciousness about anti-corruption. It is important to extend the supervision on honest administration; take a firm grasp of strengthening surveillance by media; restraint the growing and spread of "corruption epidemic" from the source and eradication; promote the clean and honest administration culture in China.

Abstract:The permanent system of party congress includes a series of systems and procedures about how to realize “permanence”. Stigmatized Floating Population Problems

Abstract:When it comes to floating population, there are many stigmatized phenomena, such as groups involved in higher crime rate, families violating the family planning and so on. Based on the bottom of demography, this paper analyses and distinguishes these phenomena from a perspective of dynamic structure. The conclusion indicates that there is a stigmatized, misleading prejudice in some previous characterization of floating population which obstructs the urbanization of population and even the social inclusion of peasant workers.

The Change of Foreign Population in Shanghai and Population Internationalization after 1949

Abstract:After 1949, the foreign population in Shanghai has changed with change of Chinas politics, economy and foreign policies. The population structure shows the characteristic of internationalization. If compared with those international metropolis such as New York and Tokyo, at present, the degree and agglomeration of population internationalization in Shanghai are quite lower. The percent of residential foreigners and agglomeration degree of international talents are also lower. Therefore, the paper argues that we should develop positive participation in international talent competition; creation of mechanism of talent introduction; formulation of specially preferential policies. The competitive advantage of senior talents should be promoted; social and cultural environments be improved; international experienced be drawn on; the green-card system be improved.

On the Basic Spirit of the Anti-monopoly Law

Abstract:Comprehensively and deeply interpreting the outline of the basic spirit of the anti-monopoly law and enhancing the understanding and awareness of anti-monopoly law are sound rules of the basic requirements of the anti-monopoly law. Using the legal science principle and the method to explain the basic spirit of the anti-monopoly law, is helpful to observe and explain the competition phenomenon, and is good to instruct the anti-monopoly laws formulation and implementation. The anti-monopoly law is containing the competition, the freedom, fair and the public welfare spirit; the antimonopoly law is the competition promotion law, the free protection law,and establishes the law and the public welfare protection method fairly. The spirit of anti-monopoly law displays frequently as the concrete anti-monopoly law value and pursuit, but its suitable use in fact is the anti-monopoly law value conflict and the choice process.

Abstract:The mode of the financial holding company in the US is one of the major ways in developing financial mixed operation management. In the subprime lending crisis, the American independent investment banks like Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley either reform or being acquired, which led to the era of organizing the important forms of financial holding companies-bank holding company. Financial holding company is one of an important form of financial mixed operation management. The legal system of the American financial holding companies has gone through nearly one hundred years, and Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999 more to the form of financial holding company established in the future as the operation mode of the American financial mixed operation management . The subprime lending crisis will have a significant impact on the development of American financial holding company model and the rule of law ,and have an important impact on China's development of financial holding company.

Abstract:Since the establishment of the securities market in China, the listed corporation executives crime has become a black phenomenon. The reason of executives crime includes lack of specific standards about investigation and deportation, unreasonable punishment and judicial discretion and so on. In order to prevent executives crime, it is need to take the following measures: clarify the standard of investigation and deportation of economic crimes in legislation, regulate the institution of joining the administrative law enforcement to criminal justice, modify some relevant crimes and legal punishment, add qualification penalty in the punishment system.

Abstract:In the process of dissemination of western culture, the term philosophy experiences a series of complex evolution, and is finally be identified as “zhe xue”(哲学). Its identification history includes very rich contents which not only reflects the interaction among China, west and Japan, but also displays a philosophic pursuit way in Chinese modernity evolution. After the term is identified, Chinese modern philosophy originated by eastern and western communication, displays in three aspects: new Confucianism, western philosophy and Marxism philosophy. Accordingly, there are three related functions: the academic pursuit of western philosophy, the life realm of new Confucianism, the political function of Marxism philosophy.

The “Property” Question of Nature Aesthetics and Chinese Tradition of Lyric Expression Through Scenery

Abstract:Allen Carlson makes an analysis on three indications of improperly natural aesthetics: the taste of formalism; the artistic attitude to nature and no distinguishing of “to be” and ”appear to be”. He argues that the primary principle of a proper nature aesthetics is appreciation of nature “as it is”. The concrete way is to look for the help of scientific knowledge. According to his principle of proper nature aesthetics, the paper makes a rethinking of Chinese ancient tradition of nature aesthetics, and finds an inner contradiction: the form was mature while the base was poor. It argues that Chinese mature tradition of lyric expression through scenery is a utilitarian attitude to nature. It improved art of poem and painting, but weakened a kind of independent and deep appreciation of nature itself.

Abstract:It is an urgent task to reconstruct the theory of socialism after the drastic changes in Eastern Europe and the disintegration of the Soviet Union from the late 1980s to the early 1990s. The key of reconstructing contemporary socialism theory is to reiterate the inevitable connection between democracy and socialism: without socialism there would be no democracy; without democracy there would be no socialism. To reconstruct the socialism theory is to thoroughly and systematically expound the relationship between socialism and society utopia, socialism and human rights, socialism and ethic in methodological aspects. Ernst Blochs theory of Marxism socialism is of great significance both in theory and in practice in reconstructing the socialism theory and striding towards the socialism of “the human beings form” in Marxs sense.

The Ecology of Dams and Its Relationship with Rural Society in Wusong River (from 10th century to 16th century)

Abstracts: After the Tang-Pu system was collapsed since the Song dynasty, the Jin-Bang system in Wusong river area began to develop. The big water gates fitted to Tang-Pu system were substituted by dams which was suitable to Jin-Bang system. Due to the siltation of river, big water gate declined grudually. In the Ming dynasty, due to the siltation of Wusong river and the change of abundant water environment in the north area, dam system developed greatly. And because the cost of constructing and maintaining big water gate was very high, big water gate almost disappeared in the Ming dynasty.

Abstract:The warehouse of water transport in the Qin and Han dynasties was not only used for storing a lot of grain, but also used as warehouse castles. Their geographic transportation superiority made them of special military geographic value. Even in the stable time, these water transport warehouses were connected by traffic lines, and supported military actions, then they formed supportive spots of state power. It showed close relation between water transport in early time and military actions, and strategic function of water transport.

A Study about the British Carronade during the First Opium War

Abstract:According to the Chinese and British historical records, in the Opium War period, the British army used the Carronades on the battle. Such artillery had a close range and an excellent performance, which strengthened the British guns fire power. China's coastal areas had some British Carronades. As domestic research on it is almost blank, this paper, according to the historical data, field surveys and metallographic testing, reveals that the shape of such artillery, their design, manufacturing technique, shell, power, range, material, and so on. From the perspective of interaction between weapon technology and society, it also makes a discussion about the reasons of the excellent performance of Carronade in the war as well as their impact on the results of the war.

“Thinking” and “Being”: an Exploration of Origin of Conscious Activity

Abstract:In the history of philosophy, the relation between thinking and being is either regarded as binary opposition between mind and matter, or is explained that it may lead spiritual phenomenon reduce to material movement. The article argues that a true way is to regard conscious activity as an information communication between human and external world. Certainly, there exists some difference between conscious activity and general information phenomenon, such as subjectivity and self-reflection. The produce of consciousness experiences a procedure from unconsciousness to original consciousness, then to consciousness. Conscious activities may be divided into three kinds: perceptual consciousness, intellectual consciousness and perceived one. The initiative nature of consciousness is reflected by the construction of subjective psychological pattern.

On Wang Ruoxus Acceptance of Bai Juyi and Its Gain and Loss

Abstract:The fact that Wang Ruoxu appreciated Bai Juyi, on the one hand, resulted from his love of Bai Juyis poems; on the other hand, reflected his distinguished realistic pertinence. It was a kind of rectification of depreciation of Bai Juyis poems in the Song dynasty; was also a kind of critique of a popular florid and peculiar writing style at that time. He thought the adjustment way was to return to the frank poems of Bai Juyi in which the sadness and joy were arisen by feeling and character, and were reflection of nature. However, the paper argues that there were gain and loss in Wang Ruoxus imitation of Bai Juyi. From the perspective of acceptance history, his theory and writing were of inspiration.

Time Anxiety and City Longing: On Writing and Image of Shanghai in Lu Shies Novels

Abstract:At the end of Qing dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, the pluralistic and heterogeneous characteristics of urban culture in Shanghai were the inspiration spring of modern novels. The writing and image of Shanghai in Lu Shies novels just reflected broad social living, disclosed urban blackness and showed a longing of ideal city. His novels made a detailed and deep description of conflicts between heterogeneous eastern and western civilizations, friction between traditional and modern ideas. Those novels fully reflected a common humiliation and anxiety of modern literati who found nothing of localization and idealization of urban culture in Shanghai. There was also an attachment of traditional value and rural civilization.

On Tongcheng School Writers of Shanghai and Their Collections of Poems and Essays

Abstract:Tongcheng School writers spread all over China. The writers of Shanghai is also an important part, but they are rarely studied. According to relevant literature, the paper argues that there are eleven writers and makes a detailed study on their biographies and collection of poems and essays. It considers that those writers accepted the Tongcheng principles, created many excellent works, and proposed some original literary theories. In a word, they were outstanding in the development of Tongcheng School.
