定语从句是高中学生在英语写作中使用频率最高，最容易出错的复合句，故设计本课，旨在帮助学生提高对定语从句的运用能力，培养学生的学科核心素养。

通过前期学习，学生已基本具备对分析句子结构的能力及定语从句的基础知识，但多数学生仍不能运用定语从句进行表达。
