大天鹅科普馆的建造场地位于荣成天鹅湖边缘的湿地北侧,为了维系大天鹅赖以生存的自然生态环境,我们以最小干预的理念展开设计,采用低调谦和的建筑姿态以及预制木构单元的建造方式。“悬浮”的建筑体量尽可能减少与场地的接触,并提供可供人和天鹅自由穿越的空间。上下层结构在统一网格的控制下,根据不同材料的性能确定各自最佳的结构网格模数,钢、混凝土单元的密集与木构单元的舒朗清晰对比,形成了建筑结构从底层的钢、混凝土再到上层木结构的渐变叠加体系。

The Swan Science Museum is located to the north of Rongcheng Swan Lake.To sustain the natural habitat of whooper swans,the design starts with the concept of minimizing intervention.The building adopts a humble gesture to the site and is constructed with prefabricated wooden units.
The floating volume of the building minimizes contact with the site and provides space for people and swans to pass through freely.The upper floor and lower floor of the building are integrated into a unified grid while each adopting its optimal module according to material properties.The dense arrangement of steel and concrete creates contrast with the clear order of wooden units,and all together they constitute a gradual system that includes a steel layer,a concrete layer and a wood layer from bottom to top.
