[Abstract] Objective To explore the correlation between anxiety and depression and treatment compliance in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods A total of 60 patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis in our hospital from January 2019 to July 2020 were selected as the research objects. SAS scale and SDS scale were used to evaluate patients′ anxiety and depression. Frankl scale was used to evaluate patients′ treatment compliance. The treatment compliance scores of patients with different anxiety and depression were compared. The correlation between anxiety and depression scores and treatment compliance of maintenance hemodialysis patients was analyzed. Results ①The score of 100.0% compliance of patients without anxiety was 4 points. In the mild anxiety group,33.3% patients scored 4 points and 28.6% patients scored 3 points. 20.0% patients with moderate anxiety scored 4 points. 30.00% patients scored 2 points and 25.0% patients scored 1 point.63.6% of patients with severe anxiety scored 1 point, but no patients scored 4 points. There were significant differences in the scores of treatment compliance among patients with different degrees of anxiety(P<0.05). ②85.7% patients without depression scored 4 points for treatment compliance. 21.7% patients with mild depression scored 4 points and 60.9% patients scored 3 points.23.8% patients with moderate depression scored 1 point and 33.3% patients scored 2 points. 88.9% of patients with severe depression scored 1 point, but no patients scored 3 or 4 points. The treatment compliance scores of patients with different depression levels were significantly different(P<0.05). ③Correlation analysis showed that depression and anxiety scores of maintenance hemodialysis patients were negatively correlated with treatment compliance scores (r=-0.714,-0.797). Conclusion Most maintenance hemodialysis patients have different degrees of anxiety and depression, and there is a significant negative correlation between anxiety and depression and treatment compliance.
