Sure, its good to get along with your teacher because it makes that time you spent in the classroom more pleasant. And yes, its good to get along with your teacher because, in general, its smart to learn how to understand the different types of people youll meet throughout your life.
But really, theres one super-important reason why you should get along with your teacher. Kids who get along with their teachers not only learn more, but also theyre more comfortable asking questions and getting extra help. This makes it easier to understand new material and do your best on tests. When you have this kind of relationship with a teacher, he or she can be someone to turn to with problems, such as learning or school issues and bullying (欺凌).
As a kid in a primary or middle school, youre at a wonderful stage in your life. Youre able to take in lots of new and exciting information. Apart from that, youre able to think about all this information in new ways. Your teacher knows that, and in most cases, he or she is glad to be the person whos giving you all that material and helping you put it together. Remember teachers are people, too, and they feel great if youre open to what theyre teaching you. Thats why they wanted to be teachers in the first place!
Some kids may be able to learn in any situation, whether they like the teacher or not. But most kids are sensitive to the way they get along with the teacher, and if things arent going well, they wont learn as well and wont enjoy being in class.

Dear Sir / Madam,
As I am sure you already know, next month you will see the beginning of the Have a Heart movement to raise money for heart research. As part of popular support for this movement, several of the students here at Trent High School have decided to organize a half-marathon on the 28th June. Of course, all the money that we hope to raise by doing this will go to Have a Heart.
In order to raise as much money as possible, we are doing two things: asking members of the public to sponsor (贊助) runners in the race, and looking for sponsors to help with the fund-raising. It is for this second reason that I am writing to you now.
As the president of Trent High Schools half-marathon committee, I am writing to ask if your company would be willing to consider providing sponsorship for our event. What we had in mind, if you are agreeable, is to put the sponsors name on the numbers of each runner, and to have the sponsors name on banners (横幅) along the route as well as at the finish line. We hope and believe that our sponsor will, in this way, become familiar to many more people.
It is difficult, of course, to make a request for money, but we are hoping that the company which sponsors us would do so to the amount of £1,000 or more, and would perhaps also provide banners etc. for us.
Should you be interested, please get in touch with us at the above address.
Thanks for your attention. We look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
James MacDonald
