一、题型解读

活动邀请信要求考生向自己的外国笔友/朋友或知名人士、专家发出邀请参加某项活动。如：

2010年全国课标卷的书面表达：

假设你是育才中学学生会主席李华，你校将举办一次英语演讲比赛（speech contest），希望附近大学的外籍教师Smith女士来做评委。请参照以下比赛通知给她写一封信。

英语演讲比赛

主题：人与自然

时间：6月15日下午2∶00-5∶00

地点：501教室

参赛选手：10名学生

2012年全国大纲Ⅱ卷的书面表达：

假定你是李华。你班同学决定为小明举办生日聚会。请你写信邀请外教Susan参加，要点包括：

2017年全国Ⅱ卷的书面表达：

假定你是李华，想邀请外教Henry一起参观中国剪纸（paper-cutting）艺术展。请给他写封邮件，内容包括：

1. 展览时间、地点;

2. 展览内容。

温馨提示：

1.“李华”邀请朋友或外教等参加的活动五花八门，但可以概括成四种：比赛、聚会、传统节日活动和文化艺术活动（上面的四篇书面表达分别代表一种类型）。

2. 由于活动邀请信件有可能是熟人，如朋友之间的信件，也有可能是陌生人，如学生和外教评委之间的信件;而且活动有些属于比较正式的活动，有些则属于比较休闲型的活动，所以考生在下笔前要考虑使用相应的得体性语言。

3. 如果是熟悉人之间的信件，信件开头是寫问候语;如果是陌生人或不是很熟的人之间的信件，信件开头是点明身份，往往可以由同位语引出。如上面邀请露西去敬老院的信的开头可以写成：I am Li Hua， a Chinese student of yours。

二、常用词汇和句型

1. 活动举办的时间、地点

The lecture will be held in Room 102 of the teaching building from 8 am to 11 am on May 26th （this Saturday）. 演讲将于5月26日（本周六）上午8点到11点在教学楼102室举行。

The lecture， which will last two hours， will be held in Room 102 of the teaching building at 8 am this Saturday. 演讲将于本周六上午8点在教学楼102室举行，这场演讲将持续两个小时。

The party will be held in the school meeting hall from 7 pm to 9 pm next Sunday. 晚会将于下个星期六晚上7点到9点在校会议室举行。

说明：活动时间和地点通常可以用一句话表达，地点在前时间在后。

2. 活动主题

The contest， the theme of which/ whose theme is“Man and Nature”， will be held in the Room 501 from 2：00 to 5：00 on the afternoon of June 15. 这场比赛，其主题为“人与自然”，将于6月15日下午两点到五点在501室举行。

3. 活动内容

三、高分秘籍

一封可以打动或吸引收信人的信才是一封好的活动邀请信，所以考生要学会合理到位地说服收信人，才能成功邀请到想邀请的人。考生可以主要从以下三大方面思考：

1. 活动安排应该清晰、详实

（1）添加修饰语

如前面邀请Smith做评委的信的活动安排可以写成：

Ten brilliant competitors， selected from 18 classes， will deliver a five- minute speech.

（2）增加活动细节

如前面去敬老院陪老人们过重阳节的活动安排可以写成：

Upon arrival ， we will visit the elderly in their rooms in groups， presenting them with flowers and self-made cards to show our respect and love. Then ， we will make some dumplings for them. Well also spend some fun time together singing， dancing and playing games， which we hope will make them happy.

2. 語言表达要连贯流畅

恰当使用连接词，使行文更连贯。如上文 框着 的内容。

3. 活动安排后需加入受邀人出席的意义或重要性

如邀请Smith做评委的信的活动安排后可以加入：

We believe you， a native speaker of English and an English teacher， are definitely among the most qualified judges for the contest. The competition will be a great success with your presence.

又如去敬老院陪老人过重阳节的活动安排后可以加入：

Hopefully， you would like the plan and join us. Im convinced that you will enjoy the merry atmosphere on this special and traditional festival.

四、学以致用

1. 完成“参观中国剪纸艺术展”邀请信（题目见前文）。

2. 假定你是李华，你们班计划星期六前往南海博物馆“文化寻根”徒步活动。请给你在南海的美国朋友Lucy写一封电子邮件，邀请她一同前往。内容包括：

（1）出发时间及集合地点;

（2）活动安排。

注意：（1）词数100左右;

（2）可适当增加细节，以使行文连贯。
