语法填空中冠词的5个考点

在名词前的纯空格，一般填冠词，即a/an/the （+形容词）+名词。自2014年开始考查语法填空以来，13套题中有9套各有一个小题考查冠词，即共有9小题考查冠词。现将考过的9道题按考点分类详解如下。

考点1：as + a student /teacher /model /child...

（2017全国Ⅲ卷） Instead， she is earning 6，500 a day as ________ model in New York.

点拨：在as （作为，当作）后的表示职业或身份的单数名词前，用不定冠词，故填a，意为“在纽约当模特，每天挣6500美元”。

考点2：泛指一段/本/座/个/……，用a /an

（2016全国Ⅱ卷） Give your body and brain a rest by stepping outside for ______ while， exercising， or doing something you enjoy.

点拨：泛指“一段”时间，故填a。

考点3：表示特指，用the

（2017全国Ⅱ卷） This included digging up the road， laying the track and then building a strong roof over ________top.

点拨：特指在前面提到的铁轨（the track）的上方，用the。

考点4：最高级前用the

（2015全国Ⅱ卷） The adobe dwellings（土坯房）are admired by even __________ most modern architects and engineers.

点拨：因the most modern是modern的最高级，故填the。

（2014全国Ⅰ卷）Now， years later， this river is one of ______ most outstanding examples of environmental cleanup.

考点5：固定短语中的冠词

（2017全国Ⅰ卷） As ________ result， people will eat more food to try to make up for that something missing.

點拨：因as a result （结果）是固定短语，故填a。

（2016全国Ⅰ卷） ...while one is being bottle-fed， ________ other is with mum—she never suspects.

点拨：因one ...the other...[（两者中的）一个……另一个……）]是固定搭配，故填the。

（2018全国Ⅲ卷） Unexpectedly， Im face-to-face with the gorilla， who begins screaming at __________ top of her lungs.

点拨：因at the top of （在……的顶端）为固定短语，故填the。请比较：on the of（在……的顶上;紧挨着），over the top of（在……的上方）。at the top of ones lungs意为“用某人最大的声音”。
