L'Oréal Shared Skin Microecology Research Progress for Its First Time

L'Oréal, a giant cosmetics group of the world, unveiled the secrets of skin microorganisms for the first time in its China R&D and Innovation Center and demonstrated the important relationship between skin microecology and skin health, as well as L'Oréal's scientific research progress over the past 15 years.According to reports, L'Oréal Research and Development and Innovation Center has carried out more than 57 clinical studies in 12 sub-sectors including atopic dermatitis, sensitive skin, oily skin and acne, published 45 scientific papers, analyzed more than 10,000 skin microecological samples, identified 132 new microorganisms, and completed 23 cooperative research projects with academic institutions such as The University of Tokyo, New York University and City University of Hong Kong.In addition, L'Oréal has mastered the method of regulating the “Prebiotics” that can promote the growth of beneficial bacteria and “Postbiotics” that is a by-product of microecological metabolism to solve the problems of eczema and dandruff which has been applied to products.
