遇见斑马线的“神奇手机”

边玩手机边走路，平均速度会减慢16%至33%，而且大脑会减少接受周围环境的信息，这使得事故发生的概率比正常情况要高出好几倍。为避免“低头族”过马路时玩手机引发交通事故，湖南省醴陵实验学校的黄俊彦和彭璟沅两位小同学为此共同做出了努力。

Peng Jingyuan,a primary schoolboy born in Hunan saw an accident on his way home. Two young men were killed by a running truck when they were going across the street playing their mobiles.He was shocked.He couldn’t believe that two lives were gone so easily.Before this,he heard some news about it but he didn’t put it into his heart.

●On May 8th,2017,in Hebei,a young man was hit to death on the spot when he was playing games on his mobile at the crossing.

●On Aug.12th,2017,in Hunan,two girls were killed by a car when they were crossing the street listening to music on their mobiles.

●On Jan.22nd,2018，in America,a five-yearold boy was killed by a bus when his mother was shopping on line crossing the street.

After he got home,he was too frightened to sleep.He wanted to find a way to stop the accidents because of playing mobiles on the crossing. The problem had been obsessing（困扰）him all the time until one day his mobile’s screen was black suddenly when he played games.He had a good idea!

The next day,Peng Jingyuan told his idea to his teacher Liao Zhenhua and his friend Huang Junyan.Two months later,Peng and Huang invented the device（装置）—Mobiles are black when you go across the zebra crossing.

The teacher with the two students went to the crossing road to check the invention.It shows that the device works.Now it can receive the light signals within 20 meters and warn the people crossing the road to pay attention to safety.

With the help of their teacher Liao,they have applied for the patent（专利）.“In the future,the device will be put into your mobile and it will give you the voice prompt（语音提示）—Pleasedon’tuseyourmobilewhen you cross the road，”Peng Jingyuan said.

◆典句赏析
