Over the past century,Asians have been learning from the Western education system.Education that promotes(提升)the“interest and happiness”of Britain was once the nation’s pride.However,in a study,Chinese middle school students from Shanghai scored much higher in math,science,and reading than British students.It was very hard for British educators to believe the result.But that was a fact.It brought British educators much pressure and pushed them to rethink their educational style:Perhaps relatively(相对地)strict Chinese teaching is more useful in the development of students'learning abilities.
