摘要:本節课主要是训练学生的阅读理解能力。用多媒体出示各种电影类型的图片,由学生来谈论各种电影,这样过渡自然,使这一节课更顺畅,学生对各种电影的观点各抒己见,畅所欲言。能让学生参与到课堂中,学生为主体,一切以学生为中心,为学生参与课堂扫清障碍,把听力材料拆成几段,让学生每听一段就能解决该段的少数空格,方便听,也方便记。这样,既降低了听力的难度,同时又让学生大胆对听力内容进行猜测,拓展了学生的思维,教学效果也较为明显。

一、 教学设计
(一) Teaching objects:
1. To grasp some new words, phrases and sentences such as record, in prison, I dont think he is involved in this case, and so on.
2. To get more information by reading Detective Lus notes and listening to the interview and improve the students integrated skills.
3. To be able to make dialogues as the model in Part B.
4. To be able to learn how to think and solve problems.

Step 1 Leadin
1. Talk about different crimes and criminals by using some pictures.
Q: What crimes and criminals are they?
2. Present new words and phrases by showing some pictures.

3. Use a picture to present the kidnapping.
Step 2 Reading
1. Skim Detective Lus notes in Part A1 and answer two simple questions:
(1) How old is the boy?
(2) Is his father very rich?
2. Read Detective Lus notes quickly and answer four more simple questions:
(1) What was Guan Fei wearing when he was kidnapped?
(2) When did the kidnapping happen?
(3) Who are the suspects?
(4) Did Wang Gang have any criminal record? What about Xie Yiming?
3. Read the notes again and fill the blanks of the notes:(1),(5),(8),(11).
Step 3 Listening
1. Prelistening
Suppose “If you are a detective, what questions will you ask the suspects?”
2. Whilelistening
(1) Listen to the tape and answer:
① How many questions did Detective Lu ask each suspect?
② Did the two suspects go to Mr Guans house that day?
(2) Listen to the tape again and fill in the rest blanks in Part A.
3. Postlistening
(1) Ask students to look at the listening material on the paper and listen to the tape again.
(2) Ask students to try to describe the suspects with statements.
Step 4 Writing
1. Help Detective Lus assistant complete the report in Part A3. Then check the answers.
2. Read the report loudly.
Step 5 Speak upendprint
1. Ask and discuss:
Who do you think kidnapped Guan Fei?
(Who has something to do with this case? )Why?
2. Listen and answer:
(1) What does Police Li think of Wang Gang?
(2) Does he think Wang Gang has something to do with the case?
3. Read and learn some useful expressions in this part.
4. Practise the dialogue in pairs.
Step 6 Extensive activity
Make a dialogue with your partner. Use Detective Lu and Police Lis conversation as a model.
Step 7 Homework
1. Remember the words, phrases, sentences in this period.
2. Make a new dialogue with your partner.
二、 教学反思
(一) 教学内容和重点:本節课的教学内容是通过阅读一位侦探关于绑架案的记录 和听侦探与嫌疑犯之间的对话来获取有关信息,完成一份报告,并模仿编对话。重点是训练学生的听、说、读、写的综合能力。对学生的个人阅读能力和理解能力要求较高,学生之前需要做单词等方面的积累。
(二) 具体教学环节做了如下安排:(1)教学前的热身与铺垫:通过图片复习crimes和criminals。(2)运用图片呈现新单词,引出本课教学内容。(3)阅读侦探的记录,回答问题,为下面的听力做准备。(4)听录音并完成信息表,紧接着根据所听信息完成一份报告。(5)Speak up: 听录音回答问题,接着分角色朗读。(6)活动:首先学习一些有用的句子,接着仿照Speak up自编一个对话。
(三) 总体效果:上课流程清晰,结构合理,过渡自然。能够按照预设的教学目标,完成教学任务。学生参与热情高,课堂气氛较为活跃。学生的听、读、说的能力都得到了训练,取得了较好的教学效果。
(四) 需要改进的环节:(1)听力前的指导不够细致,提的问题有点难,这样会影响学生听的效果。(2)听力录音可以多播放一遍,帮助学生更好地接受信息。(3)对话训练显得有点机械,没能有效地引导学生灵活运用所学知识。(4)投影片再减少点,这样学生会更加注意听,能更好地训练学生的听力。
三、 小结
通过开设这节公开课,让我明白课前充分备课、精心设计教学流程,是上好一节课的前提。同时从陈老师和听课教师那里学到了很多教学建议和方法,他们让我收获了宝贵的教学经验,能让我在以后的教学上路走得更远。
只有精心备课,课堂才能变得生动精彩,才能取得更好的教学效果。
