Study on Optimal Operation of Water Injection System for Polymer Flooding

Abstract:The supply and the injection system of water flooding are well-equipped in the oilfield. With the continuous development of the Tertiary Enhanced Oil Recovery,some new independent water injection systems were built for polymer flooding and ASP flooding.Independent injection systems lead to high energy consumption,low adjustment ability and low anti-interference ability. Through analyzing the parameters range of the water supply between the upstream and downstream basing on the existing ground equipments,a network was set up to connect all the independent systems.The match relation of the injection pump and the overall operation mode were optimized, and the ladder type adjustment method was firmed up.By those improving methods mentioned above,enough water supply and effective injection for the system was obtained,and the energy consumption was controlled effectively.Therefore,the system could run stably.

Study on Reducing Condensate Water Discharge of Steam Tracing System

Abstract:Due to the scattered layout of oil depot areas,when the steam boiler is used to heat the production,living and office facilities of oil depots,heat loss of the heating pipeline network, amount of the steam and condensate water are all great.Through analyzing the current condition of condensate water discharge,the poor condensate water quality is pointed out as the main reason for condensate water discharge.Based on investigation and analysis,the factors influencing the quality of condensate water are found.Then the relevant solutions are proposed and proved by experiments, namely,it is effective to improve the quality of condensate water and reduce the discharge of condensate water by using the aeration jet device,manganese sand tank,deaerator and steam pipeline protective agent.

The Analysis on Monitoring System of Remote Water Injection Control in Oilfield

Abstract:Since the oilfield pump operation efficiency cannot be continuously monitored,and in order to improve the power factor of the power supply system,the excitation current of the motors usually was turned up,which cause high energy consumption.Therefore,it is necessary to monitor the running state of the large pump.According to field monitoring analysis,the real time monitoring,diagnosis and control of water injection pump operation could be realized by using remote monitoring system of water injection control in oilfield.Meanwhile,the constant pressure water injection function and the real-time automatic calculation of pump efficiency could be realized.Therefore the management level of water injection in the oilfield is enhanced.

The Application of the Heat Balance System Used in Oilfiled Self-used Boiler Heating System

Abstract:In the view of the uneven thermal distribution occurred in oilfield self-used boiler heating system,through analyzing energy saving potential,this paper promoted the solutions for system hydraulic imbalance.Reasonable climate compensation heating mode and implement time-sharing partition on-demand heating mode were adopted,and a set of heat balance and energy conservation system were designed,too.By controlling the flow rate,the indoor temperature and resistance of the heating unite towards balance.In the meantime,according to the indoor temperature change, the indoor temperature can be controlled,and the flow rate of hot water can be adjusted in realtime,and than,the energy saving rate could achieve 15%to 30%.

Application Effect Evaluation of Flexible Operation Technology on Pumping Units in Wunan Oilfield

Abstract:Based on the widespread use of the frequency conversion control cabinet on pumping units in Qinghai Wunan Oilfield,to further improve the energy efficiency of the mechanical producing wells in Qinghai Oilfield,especially for stripper wells that with insufficient fluid,flexible operation technology on pumping units is experimentally applied on 13 wells in Qinghai Wunan Oilfield.Analyzing the parameter differences between flexible and conventional operation of the pumping unit,the application effect of flexible operation of pumping units is evaluated.The results show that for the 13 well,average pump efficiency increases 20.88 percent points,average system efficiency increases 5.52 percent points,and energy saving rate reaches 18.02%.

Research on High-efficient Remanufacturing Technology for Low-efficient Motors in the Oilfield

Abstract:The motor is the most frequently used power consumption equipment in oilfields.Oil and gas fields of Petrochina totally have about 0.2 million of all kinds of motors,with total installed power of 925×104kW.Owing to the use of inefficient motors,fluctuation of production load and unreasonable matching of motors and pumps,the system running efficiency of some motors is low and energy is seriously wasted.By high-efficient remanufacturing technology,inefficient motors in oilfields can be personalized and remanufactured to efficient motors that reasonably match working conditions,which can bring good economic and social benefits.Through promoting the high-efficient remanufacturing technology for low-efficient motors,Petrochina can save energy with 1.03×104tce per year and reduce carbon dioxide emission with 2.54×104t.

Energy Saving Technology of the Heating Furnace and Its Progress in the Process of Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation

Abstract:As the important part of oil processing and production,oil and gas storage and transpor-tation consume a great deal of energy.Reducing the energy consumption can enhance the competitiveness of oil and gas processing enterprises and achieve significant economic benefits.Through discussing causes of energy consumption in oil and gas storage and transportation system,the energy saving technology of heating furnaces is analyzed from two aspects,namely,the long distance pipeline transportation and the oilfield gathering system.Meanwhile,the latest achievements of current energy saving technology for heating furnaces are introduced,which provides reference for working out energy saving and consumption reduction measures in the process of oil and gas storage and transportation.

Application and Evaluation of the Fuel Gas Economizer in Industrial Furnaces

Abstract:The heating furnace is one of the major energy-consuming equipment in petrochemical industry,so how to reduce the fuel consumption is particularly important.As a new type of energy saving appliance,the current application study on the fuel gas economizer in refinery furnaces is not deep.A company tries out four fuel gas economizers,and then runs industrial experiment calibration for them.Based on above industrial experiment,the curve and function relations between the concentration of O2and CO in the smoke produced by the heating furnace is established.Taking the amount of natural gas(or quantity of heat)which 1 ton of oil needs to absorb 1 kJ of heat as the comparison data,the fuel gas economizer actually can save 0.434 7%of the energy consumption, which provides reference for the refining and chemical company.

The Energy Saving Effort of Even Wall Stator PCP

Abstract:Since PCP technology has been introduced from abroad in 1980th,the number of PCP wells has urgent increased to above 8000 in Daqing Oilfield.A series of supporting technology has formed,including production dynamic monitoring etc.The application of PCP performance indicates that the pump efficiency has greatly dropped when pump was running over 500 days,and it will lead to poor stimulate effort after adjusting operating speed.The analysis of PCP system efficiency shows that it is mainly result from the poor performance of elastomer of pump stator which led to severe leakage between rotor and stator.By changing the shape of PCP stator,an even wall stator PCP was developed.The pump has many advantage features such as the thickness of elastomer liner equals everywhere,the deformation of elastomer swelling has greatly decreased,the pump performance improved.The application of even wall stator PCP has gained good efforts,the system efficiency has increased by 5%,the rate of saving energy reaches to 18.5%.

Field Testing and Effective Evaluation of Beam Pumping Unit Utilizing Energy Saving Motor

Abstract:Various energy saving motors were attempted to enhance the motor efficiency in Changqing Oilfield,such as Double Power Motor,AC Permanent Magnet Servo Motor,Frequency Conversion Three-phase Induction Motor,Frequency Conversion Wound Rotor Motor,Switched Reluctance Motor,etc.However,there is no comprehensive comparison among these motors.Therefore,six types of motor were carried out energy saving contrast tests including no-load,onload starting and different balancing states basing on the evaluation system of pump recovery energy saving technology.The results revealed that energy saving motor can improve 2~3%of the system efficiency compared with Three-phase Induction Motor.Switched reluctance motor is more suitable for beam pumping unit because of itself less no-load loss and higher efficiency,besides its power consumption is lowest and system efficiency is highest under the balance condition.

Study of the Corrosion,Scaling and Leakage of Heat Exchangers on Oil and Gas Processing Equipment

Abstract:With the increasing running time of oil and gas processing equipment,the corrosion of the equipment is more and more serious.The heat exchanger is an important device of oil and gas processing equipment,so its corrosion,scaling and leakage directly affect the safety,smoothness and long-term operation of the equipment.Based on analysis of the operation conditions of the equipment,the causes and harm of corrosion,scaling and leakage of the heat exchanger are expounded,and some relevant protective measures are put forward,which can ensure the normal operation of the device,reduce its production costs and improve its product quality.

Application of the Sand Control Technology on Strengthening the Effect of Liquid Extraction for Oil Wells

Abstract:In China,Gudong oilfield is famous for its sand production.Its main oil layer,namely the Guantao formation,is formed by fluvial deposit of the Tertiary period.The sand producing problem of the oil layer is serious because of its shallow burial depth,high shale content,loose cementation,heavy oil and other factors.The traditional sand control technology of Gudong Oilfield has problems such as the filling compaction is poor,winding wire is easy to be damaged and the stand sticking of pipes.Aiming at above problems,4 measures to control sand for oil and water well are proposed,namely improving winding wire filling surface technology,introducing winding wire high-pressure filling technology,introducing overhaul technology to the light overhaul operation and using different sand control technology for different oil production wells.Practice has proved that those measures are very effective and have good promotion and application value.

Feasible Measures to Reduce the Energy Consumption of the Water Injection Pump

Abstract:Based on the high energy consumption and other problems of the spare water injection pump in united stations of some oil production plant in Daqing Oilfield,technical measures to reduce the energy consumption are further studied.After analyzing the main cause for high energy consumption of the pump,five feasible measures to reduce the energy consumption are put forward,namely,choosing new pumps with suitable high-performance parameters,decreasing the pump level and technically transforming the turning impeller,first using pumps with small flow,installing the high pressure anti-scaling mechanical seal equipment device,strengthening the operation skill training and technical standards implementation of technicians.By doing so,the water in-jection pump can operate in the best condition,and the integrated energy consumption of the pump can reduce 1.554×104kWh per day averagely.

Optimization for the Operation Mode of the Gas Gathering System in Sanan District

Abstract:The associated gas of Sanan district is carried to Sanan cryogenic plant and Nanba cryogenic plant by modes of pressurization and dead weight.During the transportation process,the pressure energy of pressurization gathering and transportation by the plant is not efficiently used.After the simulation and optimization by PIPEPHASE software,the associated gas can be directly supplied through point-to-point mode when the device is under normal conditions and the pressure energy of the pressurization station is used reasonably.By doing so,the operation cycle period and electricity consumption of the station can be reduced,which achieves the purpose of saving energy and reducing consumption for the gas gathering system.

Research on Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Methods and Indicator System of Heavy Oil Production

Abstract:Aiming at the high energy consumption of heavy oil thermal recovery and from the perspective of energy saving management,energy efficiency benchmarking methods for heavy oil production system are studied through analysis of heavy oil production process and its energy consumption distribution.Meanwhile,the element modeling method is used to build the energy efficiency benchmarking indicator system of heavy oil production.The indicator system which contains 22 indicators is divided into two levels,namely,macroscopic comprehensive and manufacturing process,and terminal equipment.Then the benchmarking practice of 6 heavy oil exploration blocks in two different oilfields has been carried out.The results show that the energy efficiency levels are different in steam injection,mechanical production and gathering and transportation systems of two oilfields,which verifies that the benchmarking method and index system can be used for benchmarking in heavy oil production and reflect the enterprise energy efficiency level intuitively.

Abstract:Daxie fuel oil depot of PetroChina,which is a big transit depot for crude oil and fuel oil, is located on the northeast of Daxie Island in Ningbo and put into operation in September,2009.At the end of 2015,to satisfy the special requirement of the local port area management,to strengthen the safety supervision on dangerous goods storage in the port area and to deeply learn lessons from Tianjin Port"8.12"accident,the safety of Daxie oil depot is investigated.According to the design standard for oil depots,Daxie depot is conducted the plot plan safety analysis,which technically supports the future security risks rectification.

Review on Foreign New Technologies of the Fire-Fighting System for Storage Tanks

Abstract:Tank fire and explosion accidents are easily to cause personal injury and huge losses,so it is important to guarantee the safe operation of large oil storage tank facilities.Foreign new technologies of the fire-fighting system for storage tanks are stated,such as fire monitors with large power and high strength,floating roof edge-type foam fire-fighting system for the tank seal ring fire,undersurface foam injection fire-fighting system for the fixed roof tank,new tank automatic fire-fighting system and fast driving technology for the fire pump by diesel engines.Combining with the actual situation of domestic tank fire-fighting technologies,learning the advanced experiences of foreign tank fire-fighting technologies is significant for improving the safety level and reliability of storage tanks.

Abstract:To make the construction energy conservation design satisfy relevant standards,improve the indoor environment of the construction and reduce construction energy consumption,the energy conservation design of the construction itself must be carried on.For the construction energy conservation design of supporting projects in the oilfield,current national standard,industrial standard and local standard clash with each other on parts of climatic division and thermal performance limits of building envelope.Through comparison and analysis and on the premise of not influencing energy conservation design of the construction itself,it is clarified that the same climatic division and stricter standard limits should be used in practical work.

Development and Optimization of the Process Operation Program in Sichuan to Eastern China Gas Pipeline

Abstract:The operation of long-distance natural gas transmission pipelines is very complex,and pipeline companies pursue to develop a scientific,reasonable,highly efficient and energy-saving production program.Through analysis on the process system of Sichuan to eastern China gas transmission pipeline,the operation ranges of main technological parameters are determined.Then SPS pipeline simulation software is used to do analog computation and assess gas transmission capacity of the pipeline.By analyzing the pipeline storage ranges under different flow conditions and combing with the characteristics of pipeline operation and energy saving requirements,principles and procedures of the optimal program is proposed.Based on the operation conditions of the pipeline in winter of 2015 and 2016,the above program is proved to be strongly adaptable,which shows that the operation program which is developed and optimized is reliable,effective and can be utilized to provide guidance and decision making for the pipeline production and operation.
