从高考书面表达着手 挖掘教材单元话题

2016江苏《高考大纲说明》书面表达这一部分新添加了示例4：“文字+图表”相结合的读写形式，这一变化表明高考测试题目将更加重视考查考生分析、推断、评价等高层级思维能力，同时更加关注考生的语言素养和思维品质。本文就从高考书面表达着手挖掘教材单元话题进行分析。

高考 书面表达 单元话题分析

2015年南京的第二次模拟考试和第三次模拟考试都是“文字+图表”的读写型书面表达，第二次模拟的话题是“大学热门专业的变迁”的思维导图，要求用30词描述专业变迁，分析原因并介绍你的专业原则及原因。与11模块的第二和第四单元联系紧密。第三次模拟的话题是“成功的代价”，与11模块的第三单元话题相同。2015年高考是“文字+图表”的读写型书面表达，话题是“交通问题”，与模块七第四单元话题相同。2016届苏北四市第一学期期中考试也是“文字+图表”的读写型书面表达，话题是“环境保护与可持续发展”，与模块五第二、三单元和模块十第一单元话题联系紧密。

以上分析至少可以得出两个结论：

1.书面表达“文字+图表”是近几年的考查热点。

2.以单元话题为主线，充分利用课本，强化读写训练。实际上，细细研究一下近三年的江苏高考作文，笔者会有一个惊喜地发现：江苏卷作文话题回归教材，与教材中的课文、Task和Project的话题高度一致。

请阅读下面文字及图表,并按照要求用英语写一篇 150词左右的文章.

[写作内容]

1.用约 30 个单词概述上述信息的主要内容;

2.结合上述信息,简要分析导致交通问题的主要原因;

3.根据你的分析,从社会规范(rules and regulations)和个人行为两方面谈谈你得到的启示(不少于两点)。

上述材料分为三部分：

第一部分讲述一位老奶奶阻止车辆停放引发的争议；

第二部分讲述了行人和自行车不遵守红绿灯，导致交通 事故发生的现象；

第三部分是图表和文字，反映近几年车辆数量激增的现象作业布置。

因此，遇到此类作文可分三步走：

第一部分概括所给材料：

As is described in the material, the traffc issue is a hard nut to crack. Not only does it affect our everyday life, but it may also threaten people’s lives.

第二部分分析导致交通问题的主要原因：

Quite a few things give rise to the traffic problem. In spite of the large-scale construction of roads and high ways, there is still much room for improvement, because of the ever increasing number of cars these years. What’s worse, some drivers, cyclists and pedestrian do not think it vital to obey traffc rules.

第三部分谈谈你得到的启示：

As a matter of fact, traffc rules are part of the rules and regulations closely related to public order. Without them, people could not enjoy the harmony or the country would be in chaos. But rules alone don’t secure an orderly society. It is the people who obey the rules that matter. It is everybody’s duty to observe them to keep our society in order and going on the right track.

教师在让学生写完这篇作文之后，可以让他们翻到Module 7 Unit 4的Project话题：Preventing traffc accidents道路交通安全，要求学生列出车辆和行人在交通安全方面应注意的问题。

目前高考书面表达难度加大、形式多样，但万变不离其宗，模块与单元话题的设计为学生提高英语书面表达能力提供了先决条件和练习空间。一模块一主题，一单元一话题，层次清晰，易于把握，且教材给出的主题与话题均为当前热门话题或关于校园学习和生活等内容，这些也正是学生的兴趣所在，让学生有话可讲，所以教师应充分抓住课堂教学这个主阵地，利用好教材，挖掘教材中的语言素材和思想内涵，在听、说、读的每个环节提炼出有用的写作材料。笔者坚信学生写作能力的提高指日可待。
