The cuckoo is a merry bird,

She sings as she flies;

She brings us good tidings,

And tells us no lies.

She sucks little birds’eggs,

To make her voice.

Cuckoo!Cuckoo!

Three months in the year.

布谷鸟，真快乐，

边飞翔，边唱歌；

捎来好消息多多，

从不撒谎将人欺。

小鸟蛋，吸一吸，

好把歌喉清一清；

布谷鸟！布谷鸟！

一年三月唱不停。
