Suzhou in East China’s Jiangsu Province is famous for many wonderful classical-style gardens in China. Here are some greatest gardens worth visiting.

Humble Administrator’s Garden

It’s the largest and the most famous garden in Suzhou， perhaps the finest of its type in China. Lion Forest Garden

At a little more than one hectare in size， the Lion Forest Garden was first built in 1342. The garden gets its name because it is filled with strangely shaped rocks which are said to look like lions posing in various shapes. The garden’s many paths wind（蜿蜒向前）through countless caves and rocks， making it easy to get lost. Apart from being beautiful and interesting， the garden is perhaps the oldest rock garden of its kind， making it important-historically.

Yiyuan Garden

At 0.6 hectares， the Yiyuan Garden is one of the smallest of the important gardens in Suzhou. Centered in a pond， a huge rockery， 7.2 meters in height， was created by using nearly ever technique known in the art form. Christian Eijkman， a Dutch doctor， left the Netherlands for the island of Java. Many people on the island had a disease called beriberi. He was going there to try and find a cure.

At first， Eijkman thought some kind of germ（细菌）caused beriberi. He raised some chickens. He didn’t eat them， but made experiments on them. The local people were quite surprised at that. A Minnesota nursing home has begun using two Al-powered robots as care assistants for those with dementia（痴呆）. The Pepper and NAO robots， both built by Softbank， were customized（定做）by roboticists at the University of Minnesota Duluth（UMD）to interact and improve the independence of residents at The Estates at Roseville， followed by another seven nursing homes.

The four-foot-tall Pepper and two-foot-tall NAO are set to engage with patients through conversation and observation.
