Why" can we hear？ It’s because we have ears， of course. But do you" " know how our ears work？

The ear has three parts： the outer ear（外耳）， the middle ear（中耳）， and the inner ear（内耳）. They all work together to help us hear.

You can see the outer ear. It collects（收集） sounds around you. The sounds then come in and strike（击） the eardrum（耳膜）. The eardrum is a piece of skin and the sounds cause（引起） it to vibrate（震动）.

We cannot see the middle ear and the inner ear. But they are very important. There are hairs（绒毛） in the inner ear. The hairs help to send sounds to your brain（大脑）. By this way， your brain receives（接收） the sounds and understands the information.
