阿尔弗雷德·丁尼生（Alfred, Lord Tennyson），英国诗人，生于林肯郡的萨默斯比，就读于剑桥大学。1830 年，丁尼生发表了第一部诗集，但反响不佳，而1842 年的修订本确立了他的声望。1850 年11 月19 日，丁尼生成为英国桂冠诗人。
