“鱼雷”再见，“清风”加油

“清風，起立！”随着崔泉发出口令，训练开始了。崔泉是东营市公安局开发区分局特警大队辅警、警犬训导员，“清风”是崔泉带的第16条犬。

1987年出生的崔泉从小喜欢犬。2006年，崔泉进入武警特战部队服役，成长为一名军犬训导员。崔泉带领军犬参加过北京奥运会安保、武警总部专项比武等重要任务，他带出的第一条军犬“赛克”曾荣立三等功。退伍后，崔泉回到家乡东营，当过宠物店店主、训犬基地老板。2018年，东营市公安系统组建第一支警犬中队，崔泉果断放弃月收入轻松过万的生意，成为一名警犬训导员。

“‘鱼雷’走的时候，你流泪了吗？”同事问，崔泉赶忙摆摆手，扭过脸。“鱼雷”是崔泉来到队里带的第一条警犬，当时它只有7个月大。“鱼雷”先后参与过二十余次安保和演训任务，是山东省公安系统“功勋犬”，不久前在一次执行任务过程中不幸牺牲了。

“‘鱼雷’快6岁了，警犬的一岁相当于人类的10多岁。”崔泉说，一般犬正常可活到十二三岁或更长，而警犬因为日常训练身体消耗大、牙齿磨损快，能活到10岁以上的很少，一般到8岁便可以换食谱，享受“退休”待遇了。“警犬多数时间处于一定程度的饥饿状态。”崔泉说，为便于训练时使用食物诱导、保持犬的身材和运动能力，警犬的喂饲是严格限量的。

警犬训导员的背后同样有许多不为人知的艰辛。他们一天的工作从清晨打扫犬舍开始、到傍晚喂食结束，要陪警犬一起在训练场地上摸爬滚打，加上犬的天性“黏人”，训导员身上会粘上大量犬毛。崔泉训犬时一天要换四五套衣服，最多一天换过8套。崔泉爱犬懂犬，各种犬的特点习性如数家珍，看犬的耳朵动一动，尾巴摇几摇，他就能迅速判断犬的情绪和“想法”。即使这样，仍然难以避免被犬咬伤，他的手臂上有十几处大大小小的伤疤，最重的一处伤口缝了近二百针。“犬和训导员是要一对一的，一般情况下不能换训导员。”崔泉说，重伤他的那条犬就有多次换训导员的经历。

“犬的错误，其实都是主人的错误，是主人管理不当造成的。”2023年11月6日上午，警犬训练基地举行警营开放日活动，崔泉为来参观的学生普及文明养犬常识，“清风”为大家展示的障碍课目让他十分满意。目前，东营市公安局警犬训练基地有训导员9名，警犬11只，新老梯队完备。有外人进入基地，洪亮而有力的犬吠声会此起彼伏，冲上蓝天。

Farewell， “Torpedo”， Come on， “Breeze”

Cui Quan is an auxiliary police officer and police dog handler at the Special Police Unit of the Economic Development Zone Sub-bureau of the Dongying Public Security Bureau， and “Breeze” is the 16th dog trained b y C u i Q u a n . B o r n i n 1 9 8 7 ， C u i Quan has been a dog lover since his childhood. In 2006， he served in the Special Operations Forces of Armed Police， becoming a military dog handler.

He has led military dogs to perform such important tasks as security of the Beijing Olympics， and special competitions at the Armed Police Headquarters. His first military dog“Zeck” won a third-class merit citation. After being demobilized， Cui Quan returned to his hometown Dongying， where he ran a pet shop and a dog training base successively. In 2018 when Dongying’s public security system organized the first police dog squadron， Cui Quan decisively gave up his business with a monthly income exceeding ten thousand Yuan and became a police dog handler.

There are lots of untold hardships behind police dog handlers. Every day， their work starts with cleaning doghouses in the morning， and ends with feeding in the evening. Besides， they need to go through training with police dogs on the training ground. Since dogs are“clingy” by nature， dog handlers may have lots of dog hair on their clothes. For training dogs， Cui Quan needs to change his clothes four or five times a day. He has even changed clothes eight times one day. He loves and knows dogs and is familiar with the features and habits of all sorts of dogs. On seeing a dog moving its ear or wagging its tail， he could rapidly tell the dog’s mood and “thought”.

On the morning of November 6， 2023， the police dog training base held an open day. Cui Quan popularized the knowledge of civilized dog rearing to students. The obstacle course navigated by “Breeze” greatly satisfied Cui Quan. So far， the Police Dog Training Base of the Dongying Municipal Public Security Bureau has nine dog handlers， and eleven police dogs， with complete old and new echelon arrangements.
