1 After 20 minutes riding on a unicycle， 12?year?old Chang Yixing wiped her forehead and sat on theplayground to rest. Her colorful dance costume wasshining under the sun. Chang is a sixth grader of Fu?longping Primary School in Lanzhou City of northwestChinas Gansu Province. Many students of the schoolhave been showing amazing dance of Dunhuangs ancient beauty on unicycles since 2018.

Wang said that all thestudents of the school have been practicing unicycles every day during the past few years.“Sports like riding unicycles make my students confident. Every student can get joy fromthe sports，”he said.

5 Dong Li， Changs physical education teacher， always gave encouragement to hisstudents and believed it was easier for kids to ride a unicycle.“Children are light andsmart， so it shouldnt take too long to master the skills of riding unicycles，”Dong said.

6 Chang has been practicing unicycles for two years. At the beginning， she fell off theunicycle a lot. After two weeks， she learned to find her balance and fell in love with thesport. Chang believed that sports were already a part of her life and she enjoyed herself onthe unicycle.“I really love riding on it，”she said.
