Chinese New Year

It’s the Spring Festival， the most important festival in China. We also call it Chinese New Year. It usually comes in February， but sometimes it comes in January.

Before the Spring Festival， I always help my parents clean the house. It means sweeping away bad luck. We often go shopping. We buy lots of things for the festival， such as meat， chicken， fish， fruit， vegetables， flowers and so on. We also buy new clothes for family members. On the eve of the Spring Festival， we have a big dinner together. After dinner， we all like to watch the great Spring Festival Gala on TV. During the Spring Festival， I visit my relatives with my parents and give good wishes to everyone. I always get lucky money from them.
