Jack is a 10-year-old boy.He is in Grade 4 at a primary school.But he does not like English.He does not like maths.He does not like music.He does not like art.He does not like science.He does not like PE.He only likes playing.He usually does not do his homework.And he often tells lies.

杰克是一个10岁的小男孩。他在一所小学读四年级。但是他不喜欢英语。他不喜欢数学。他不喜欢音乐。他不喜欢美术。他不喜欢科学。他不喜欢体育。他只喜欢玩。他通常不做家庭作业。他还经常说谎。

One day, Jack’s father bought a lie detector robot.The lie detector robot will slap people when they lie.

一天，杰克的父亲买了一台测谎机器人。测谎机器人会在人们说谎时打他们一巴掌。

One night, Jack’s father decided to test it out at dinner.Jack’s father asked his son, “Jack, what did you do this afternoon?”

一天晚上，杰克的父亲决定在晚餐时测试一下。杰克的父亲问他的儿子：“杰克，你今天下午做了什么？”

Jack answered, “I did some homework.” The robot slapped him at once.Then Jack said, “Ok, Ok, I was at a classmate’s house watching a movie.”

杰克回答说：“我做了一些家庭作业。”机器人立刻打了他一巴掌。然后，杰克说：“好吧，好吧，我在同学家看电影。”

Jack’s father asked, “What movie did you watch?”

杰克的父亲问：“你看了什么电影？”

Jack answered, “Toy Story.” The robot slapped Jack again.Then, Jack said, “Ok, Ok, we were fishing by the seaside.”

杰克回答：“《玩具总动员》。”机器人又打了杰克一巴掌。然后，杰克说：“好吧，好吧，我们在海边钓鱼。”

Dad said, “What? You were fishing by the seaside? At your age, I didn’t even go to the seaside.” This time the robot slapped the father.
