一、教材分析
本课所选内容是高等教育出版社中等职业教育课程改革国家规划新教材《英语基础模块》 第2版第2册《Its time to change.》(Reading)。本课话题有关健康生活,是学生比较感兴趣的内容。通过本课教学,能增强学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生健康的生活方式。
二、学情分析
本课教学对象是中职学生,学生英语基础知识相对薄弱。因此,在教学过程中,要注重学习策略的指导;在教学内容的设置上先易后难,营造轻松的学习氛围,注重激发学生的学习兴趣,鼓励学生积极参与课堂活动,帮助学生树立英语学习自信心。
三、教学目标
1.知识目标:学生能掌握和运用表达健身、健康生活习惯的词汇和短语,如:slim、skip、stay up、put on weight、get rid of等; 学生能根据课文,了解健身俱乐部会员表格填写的基本格式。
2.能力目标:提高阅读能力和查找整理相关信息的能力;学生能简单描述有关健身、健康生活习惯的情况。
3.情感态度与价值观:培养学生健康的生活习惯;培养学生积极参加体育锻炼的好习惯。
四、教法与学法
任务教学法、小组合作探究法、合作学习。
五、教学重点与难点
1.重点:学会使用slim 等词汇和短语;理解Sara和Allen的健康故事。
2.难点:通过阅读培养学生整合信息的能力;把本课所掌握知识点运用到实际中去。
六、教学过程
Step1 warming-up
1. Lets enjoy a short movie.
2. What do you think about the short movie?Why are they taking exercise?(Keep healthy!)Do you want to keep healthy ?(Healthy) So,today we will learn Reading of Unit 5.(板书:Reading Health stories)
Step2 Pre - reading 1. Think about that what the stories will talk about?
2. Look at the two pictures.Who are they?Well read their Health Stories.
