教学过程

Step 1.Warm up&Revision

1.Greetings&Enjoy a song

T:Hello,boys and girls.Today we’ll learn Unit 6 How do you feel?Part A Let’s talk.At first,let’s enjoy an interesting song and answer“What is it about”.(播放视频的过程中,引导学生跟着视频中的各种情绪做动作,加深体会)

S1:It’s about...(引导学生说出feelings)

教师板书feelings并教读。

T:Yes,it’s about feelings.So can you say some feelings?

Ss:Happy/sad/angry/tired/afraid...(教师领读并带领学生感受各种情绪)

设计意图:在欢快的节奏中引入本课,活跃课堂气氛,通过观看视频,初步感知happy,angry,sad等情绪并理解词汇,激发学生的学习兴趣,为当天的课堂教学做好铺垫。

2.Play a game

T:Wow,good job.Then let’s play a copy game.Rules:If it is true,stand up and say as me.If it is not,just sit quietly.

(如果和教师有相同感受,就起来大声说,否则就安静地坐在座位上)

T:When I play basketball,I am happy.

Ss:When I play basketball,I am happy.

设计意图:通过起立游戏拉近师生距离,活跃课堂气氛,交流令人愉悦的感受和经历,并为新课的导入做好铺垫,一举数得。

3.Let’s say

T:OK,wehavesomany happy things.That’s very good.Now let’ssaymore:When I_____,I am happy.You share in pairs.

(同桌分享开心的经历,然后师生交流)

S1:When I play computer games,I am happy.

S2:When Iwatch TV,I am happy.

设计意图:先同桌分享开心的经历,通过生生交流的方式,发散学生思维。再师生共同分享,拉近师生的距离。

Step 2.Presentation&Practice

1.Let’s try

T:Now we are very happy.WhataboutSarah and Sam?They’re very happy,too. (出示Sarah和Sam很开心的图片)Maybe they will...Can you guess why?

S1:Maybe they will have a big dinner.

S2:Maybe they will take a trip.

设计意图:通过让学生猜测“Maybe they will...”激发学生的兴趣,鼓励学生运用自己的生活认知展开合理推测。这样不显得那么突兀,自然过渡到教学新知上来。

T:Good guess.Now let’s listen and find the answers.I have two questions for you.

T:How do we know that?Let’s read.(引导学生找出“We can stay inside and watch films”)Yeah,stay inside means stay at home.Oh,I have another question.What kind of films?Kung fu films?(引导学生说出cartoon)What cartoon will they watch?Let’s watch and answer.

设计意图:通过听培养学生抓住关键信息的能力,在回答听力问题后继续追问学生如何获得这些信息,培养其在听中适当推测的听力技巧;同时更进一步挖掘Let’s try的听力文本信息,激发学生进入Let’s talk学习的兴趣。运用先猜再听的方式,有利于培养学生的思维能力。

2.Let’s talk

Task 1.Watch and find

Sswatch the talk without lyricsand answerwhatcartoon they will watch.

(引出动画片背景Mr Black,简单谈论Mr Black)

Ss watch a short clip of Mr Black.

T:Who else do you see?

S1:Mouse/Mice.

设计意图:通过观看无字幕的对话视频,让学生了解本课的背景,然后在有信息差的基础上观看《黑猫警长》的小片断,自然引出mice,同时引发学生共鸣,激发学生兴趣。

Task 2.Watch and answer

T:Now Sarah and Sam are talking more about this cartoon.Let’s watch and answer.

Q1:How do the mice feel?

Q2:How does the cat feel?

(引导学生说出“He’s angry with them. They’re afraid of him.”强调连读,同时让学生理解them,him分别指代什么)

设计意图:第二遍看带字幕的动画片,带着问题看视频,自己默读并运用重点句型,层层递进,学生的语言更丰富。同时有输入才有输出,不再是教师单纯地教,而是让学生在情境中自己感悟,比反复枯燥的读更有效。

Task 3.Listen and find

T:Why the mice are afraid and the cat is angry?Let’s listen and find.

(引导学生在文中找出依据)

S1:Because he chases the mice.

S2:Becausethemiceare bad.They hurt people.

设计意图:在学生回答问题后进一步追问why,发展学生的思维能力;听录音,整体感知,确定关键信息点,同时突破难点chases,hurt people。

T:The mice are bad.Let’s watch a video,how do they hurt people?

设计意图:通过观看小视频,让学生感悟hurt people的真正含义,化抽象为具体。

3.Reading practice

(1)Read along.

(2)Read it one by one.

(3) Read it by yourselves.

(4) Show time:Roleplay or dubbing.

设计意图:朗读时,先让学生尝试整体跟读对话,关注自己朗读的薄弱之处,有利于他们更好地模仿录音,听取教师的语音指导。在此基础上,通过仔细研读文本,各种形式的读,让学生有自信来展示,展示形式可以是角色扮演,也可以是配音。在这个过程中,利用课本插图,让学生感知“Maybe ourcatis chasing a mouse now.”的含义。

Step 3.Extension& Consolidation

1. 揭示 Different time,different feelings

T:Now Sarah is happy.Tick tock,tick tock,time flies.How does Sarah feel now?

Ss:She is angry.

T:Why?Guess.

(让学生猜一猜,激发学生兴趣)

T:Let’s listen and find the answer.

Ss:She’s angry because Sam eats all the popcorn.

T:Sarah is very angry.Let’s read very angrily.

(学生和教师一起演一演,让学生感受Sarah愤怒的情绪。)

T:Is Sam right?

Ss:No,we should share.

设计意图:在这个过程中延续了课文的内容,渗透分享的情感教育。

T:Sarah is very angry now.Let’s watch more.

(观看Sarah的视频,为下文学生语言输出作铺垫。)

So different time,wehave different feelings. How about you?

T:Wow,you have so many wonderfulfeelings.Let’s learn more.Sometimes,we are happy.Sometimeswearesad.Sometimeswe areangry...We can enjoy different feelings,and enjoy our different life.

(师生边观看视频边说说呈现的各种不同情绪)

(让学生说一说、演一演)

S1:I do sports,I am tired.Iplay the computergames,I am happy.Myfriend isill,I am worried.Ihaveabirthday party,I am surprised.My mother is angry,I am afraid.

T:Oh,so many feelings.So how many feelings does she talk about?

Ss:Five.

T:Yeah,happy,worried...When you have a birthday party,you are surprise.Maybe next time you can invite me,I will have a gift for you.

设计意图:首先通过观看Sarah不同情绪的视频,引出Different time,different feelings,然后让学生同桌间合作,分享自己的情感经历,感知更多不同的情绪,拓宽学生思路,增强学生用英语思维的能力,并与学生的现实生活相结合,使语言知识在真实的情境中得以巩固运用。

3.Watch a video

设计意图:课堂最后通过欣赏与小结,让学生明白与理解本课的情感目标。
