Abstract： Hu Mingfu is well-known Chinese modern mathematician, but he has also raised abundant scientific theories. This paper explores his world view about scientific concepts, cosmology of modern sciences,the motivation of scientific exploration, scientific law, scientific method, and the views towards scientific spirit. It also points out that many of his ideas derive from critical school, especially Poincaré and Pearson.
