2017-08-01 Island model V/f controlled micro grid system study

Abstract:This paper introduced lead-acid battery classic first order model and topological structure of charging and discharging circuit. Control method of bidirectional converter under active and positive power source and V/f source accumulation system was studied. Base on the incident of micro grid failure caused by V/f source over-charged, a stable state of charge (SOC) control strategy based on island mode was indicated. Which is keeping low rate charge and discharge by controlling the SOC to slightly fluctuate around threshold. The simulation on EMTDC/PSCAD software proved the effectiveness. This strategy provided a solution for the stability of micro grid under island mode.

Abstract:Huaneng International Power Development Company Tongchuan Zhaojin Power Plant’s 2×600 MW unit main steam pressure seriously surged while increasing load in automatic generation control (AGC) mode. In order to increase the quality of coordinated control of unit,proportion integration and differentiation (PID) parameter module was designed, and properly setting proportional gain and integral time, rapidly increase or decrease load was ensured. And main steam pressure deviation was controlled in allowed range.

Abstract:Intelligent substation localization requires uniformed interface. By integrated design, functions of multiple cards were integrated into a single chip. This required more powerful calculating ability. The process chip based on ARM structure is low power consumption and fast speed, which satisfied the requirement of localized devices. This paper introduced the ARM chip to realize the design and application of localized relay protection device. Based on the IEC 61850 modeling method, a simulation and test system was developed to test the functions and performance of localized devices.

Abstract:In this paper, running conditions and main failure modes of low pressure evaporators in heat recovery boilers of several gas power plants of Huadian Corporation were investigated. The result shows that flow accelerated corrosion (FAC) is the main reason of tube leakage in low pressure evaporators. After that, this paper expounded the corrosion mechanism and its influencing factors of FAC, and proposed some countermeasures from the aspects of design, material selection, operation and maintenance, etc.

2017-08-17 Experimental study on multi-source industrial steam supply of condensing power unit

Abstract:This paper introduced the steam extraction transformation scheme of reheat steam and main steam lines for a homemade 300 MW condensing power unit, and through theoretical calculation and experiment, it acquired the extraction flows at low and high temperature parts of reheating pipe under different load conditions for every unit. The study showed that through multi-source industrial steam supply transformation of 300 MW condensing power unit, it realized the maximum heat supply of 1.5 MPa industrial steam per unit up to 170 t/h, which provided a reference for the heating transformations of other 300 MW condensing power units, such as Alstom and Dongfang.

Abstract:Taking the AP1000 nuclear power unit as an example, this paper calculated the addition dosage of second-loop system in operation mode and shutdown mode of condensate polishing system (CPS), and obtained the theoretical add amounts of ammonia and hydrazine when the unit is running, which provided a reference for the dosing system design and configuration of second-loop of AP1000 nuclear power unit.

The non-shell wet type precipitator, independently developed by China Huadian Engineering Company Limited, provided solution for anode support beam, and indicated an anode maintenance method.

Abstract:Noise of direct air cooling system mainly consists of fan group aerodynamic noise and is mainly from dipole. Air cooling island fluid field simulation and noise estimation was carried out based on Fluent acoustics module. Which indicated that Fluent effectively simulated fluid field. To improve environmental influence from direct air cooling system, lowering low frequency noise could be considered.

Abstract:For the 330 MW subcritical boiler of a certain power plant, two leakage accidents occurred due to the inner wall corrosion of platen reheater and wall type reheater. Combining with the tube cutting inspection on site, sediment test and analysis reports of metallographic and mechanical properties, this paper analyzed the corrosion reason of low-temperature reheater from the aspects of chemical water treatment, operations of boiler startup and shutdown, etc. After that, it proposed the treatment scheme on site and corresponding anti-corrosion measurements.

Abstract:Based on Jiantou Chengde Power and Heat Company Limited 350 MW unit, cause of rotary air preheater main shaft stalling failure was analyzed. After internal inspection and flue gas temperature curve analysis, air preheater rotatable parts were conformed function properly. Combined with motor current trend before and after failure, the main cause was determined as transmission part failure. After reducer disassemble inspection, it was found that final drive gear bearing inner race fracture, retainer damage and transmission lost. After changing failed bearing, air preheater returned to normal. Combined with monitoring data, the failure process was reproduced. Preventive advices were provided.

Especially in generator temperature-rise test, the vibration value varied with variation of exciting value. After analysis, unit vibration was mainly caused by rotor imbalance. By site balance adjustment, the problem of over-vibration was effectively solved.

2017-08-58 Analysis of a short circuit fault at the low pressure side of excitation transformer of 600 MW unit

Abstract:In the startup process of No.3 unit of a certain power plant in Guangdong, a short circuit fault took place at the low pressure side of the excitation transformer of self-shunt excitation system, and which caused the tripping of power unit. Through analyzing the curve of fault protection action and the fault phenomenon after disintegrating of excitation transformer, this paper pointed out the fault reason of excitation transformer is insufficient heat dissipation, which led to the aging of insulations in low-voltage coil and interturn, and caused the interturn short circuit of low-voltage coil finally. After that, this paper proposed some repair and improvement suggestions according to the fault reason.

Desulfurization system was equipped for each boiler and with one stacker. Abnormal scaling was found in desulfurization system operating. Base on this problem, analysis was carried out, and treatment measurements was indicated. Which is critical for the unit safety, reliability and economic.
